He is incredibly complex for a core class as most of his parts have articulation. PXL_20220204_213209615.PORTRAIT~2.jpg PXL_20220204_214319445.PORTRAIT.jpg

Found this guy at my local Wal-Mart the other day, and I'm satisfied with him. Engineering wise, he's almost identical to the ThreeZero ravage, down to the transformation and the removable parts. It wouldn't surprise me if that figure was used as the base for this design. He actually improves on it since the hip guns can still attach to the cube mode and still fit into the chest of Soundwave.

Pretty solid start to core class in Studio Series.

Yikes, anyone else have this issue? Peg hole on the right hip was too small for the missile peg. I actually watched the stress mark happen as I pegged it in for the first time. :(

I'm not collecting the BB movie characters, but I did pick this guy up to customize him into a decent Steeljaw hound for Lockdown.

Detail, articulation and paint apps are great. However, after transforming him back and forth just once, his front left shoulder snapped. I've never had a figure break out of the box like this, in decades of collecting. No excessive force was used - I was just rotating it for transformation. I'll try and get a replacement later this week, but it might be something to watch out for.

On the plus side, nice to see that cassette wheel detailing on his body!

Got this guy earlier. I've always loved Ravage, but have relatively few Ravages in my collection. I think this is a pretty good figure. The jaguar mode looks great, and will scale well with my Siege Soundwave (not sure if I'm going to get BB Movie Soundwave, I'm not sure I can justify buying yet another Soundwave with a lazy altmode, especially since my Siege one does pretty much the same job and IMO looks a bit better). He comes with a surprising amount of accessories for such a small figure.

The altmode feels very...utilitarian. It seems to only exist to fit inside Soundwave. All function, no playability (unless you have Soundwave). Which is fine, I guess, but I think that would be a bit more acceptable if he had been included as an accessory with Soundwave. On his own there's not much you can do with this altmode, aside from maybe pretend he's a laser turret if you plug the gun barrel on top. I guess it's a pick-your-poison situation. If they do it this way, it feels a bit lazy and boring. But if they included, say, a second hover tank mode, it would compromise the design. Considering I'll mostly display him in robot mode, I'm fine with this approach. It's probably the better option for people who want to use him with Soundwave.

It's an $11 figure. You want him to be a triple changer for that price? Even the G1 version was either a jaguar or a cassette tape. What can you do with a cassette besides sticking him into Soundwave.

Granted I agree, he should have came with Soundwave, but if he did, Hasbro would either cheapen the figure or increase the price of Soundwave. Maybe some folks are fine with just Soundwave or visa versa. Mines coming in a few days. I don't like this big headed Soundwave but I guess I'll have to get him since I have Ravage now. Sigh..

Is BB Ravage suppose to be a Cat or Dog?

Yeah, feel like this guy could make a great Steeljaw with a bit more bulk added. Robot mode from the 1-step changer can easily be scrapped, as it wasn't in the movie, with the cassette mode being repurposed as a "re-entry mode".
    Cat, per usual.

Kinda want this upgrade kit but not at $10 shipped, given the figure was $12. Anyone bought this?

Got mine last night and overall not impressed, despite articulation being decent. Color is also pretty good and spread out. They cheaped out on putting pins in the tail and paws and I find them constantly popping off. I was hoping this would push me to wanting BB Soundwave, but now I'm going to wait for a deep sale on him.

I feel dumb asking this, but he can't fit in Siege/Netflix Soundwave correct? Can he fit in Siege Soundblaster? I'm absolutely terrible at judging the sizes of objects in pictures...

Bro. He's too thick. The Ravage that belongs to Siege/Netflix Soundwave is thin like a cassette tape and fits. This Ravage is more like a cube.

This Ravage is not designed to interact with Siege or Earthrise Soundwave. The cassettes that do interact with those Soundwaves are much more flat than this Ravage.

Has anyone else had issues with the plastic on the balljoints for the legs? Mine are showing bad stressmarks out of the box
