I could understand if the quality from 10 years ago went into the toys today, but it gets worse.
There's a reason those 3P Voyager figures cost $100 (and climbing). Just like why MP figures are starting to crack the $200 mark.
...huh, this hadn\'t been reported? I could have sworn I mentioned in my Studio Series Newsblast the prices.
Oh well, I\'ll mention here that Deluxes are 19.99.
YOU WILL GIVE US LEAKED IMAGES
Looks pretty good if you ask me, I wasn't expecting him to be in his first-movie Camaro mode, but I don't mind it. This looks like an improvement over the original version. If this line is good I'm going to try and get all the TF1 figures (I'm not a fan of AoE so Grimlock and Stinger are easy passes).
This line should be interesting. Some of these figures im dying to get and others I dont give two s**ts about.
If you don't mind me asking, which ones? I'm definitely going to be a completionist for this line, so I'm curious as to what others are looking forward to.
For me, I'm my must haves are:
Deluxe 77 Bee (wasn't gonna until I saw him)
Deluxe Ratchet (although they REALLY need to make him a voyager)
I want to see what the other deluxes will be before I know if I'm going to pick them up. I don't REALLY feel the need to get new Optimus, Starscream or Ironhide since I have MPM Optimus, will get MPM Ironhide and have Leader Starscream. But if they end up being really awesome toys, I might pick them up as fun fiddle toys to keep around and maybe let my son play with. But that new Megatron looks awesome (ROTF is my favorite design but none of the toys have done it justice).
The reason that I'm loving this line so much is for three reasons:
1. I missed the boat on movie verse toy lines until I started with TLK. This line allows me to collect the cast and they look pretty accurate so far.
2. As someone who's in high school and doesn't have a job yet, this allows me to get the characters for cheaper.
3. I'm not an online shopper. I prefer to go to the store and find a figure on the shelf. It makes it easier for me overall.
This is exactly the reason i like this line. I was never a fan of the movies except a few scenes so never got into the toylines until tlk and i always thought the designs were.... different? But i like the look of them and hope we get a good majority of the cast if not all of them in this line, even the really obscure background guys like devcon or some of the constructicons that were only in robot mode in the concept art.
Well I stopped collecting autobots after DOTM except for voyager primes, dinobots, and deluxe squeeks for the hell of it. But I buy all decepticons. So im very excited for Crobar and Stinger plus Brawl Starscream and Blackout. I generally skip the leaders that are out of scale.
The POTP Deluxes are frequently down to $15 on Amazon Prime. Some of the TR and TLK are down to $12-15 as well. Saves a lot of money on gas this way. I bet this first wave of Studio Series figures hits that price after a couple of months of saturation too. Nothing we've seen so far really screams "buy this the minute I see it". But they're worth an impulse buy later this year when they're on sale.
So what are all the confirmed figures in the Studio Series line lol
Was the 4chan leak legit?
Was the leak real probably not but with Blue light its a name that could mean barricade we just don't know yet
Right now its
77 camaro bee
Starscream tf2 redeco
? ? ?
A third leader class with no codename has been pointed out to me Thanks to the later posts below this.
I think there was one more leader class on I think it was a Takara list. Just no codename right now.
I can confirm that. I was there when they talked about it in these fourms.
For that kind of figure, you wonder who will it be. Same goes with Voyager Destroyer. Deluxes not so much.
There was a third leader class UPC in TRU’s system.
Thanks I added to the original post
I'm curious who that would be.
