I like both versions of Airrazor to be honest.

I also hate the colors of both.  

 

I don't expect much from Primal either, to be honest. I'll be pleasantly surprised if I end up liking Cheetor, we'll see next week.

 

I prefer the Beast mode on the Mainline, but prefer the robot mode on the SS

Btw, Airazor and the other figures are gonna ship around early March in the UK, so we could see them earlier than expected.

 

Cheetor I look forward to seeing, also will tell is how Optimus Prime’s SS toy will look.

I am wonder why Primal is a Leader. Cause both in general for Primal and the movie design, that is not a design that needs to be a Leader.

Agreed, also the beast mode wise main thing I think this wins is the wing articulation.

Yeah, I'm not sure how Studio Series is the version that visually sucks more. Leads me to believe the CGI model will be just as ugly and odd. I know animals turning into robots can only do so much, but this one feels so...bland.

 

My biggest problem with all the ROTB SS figures isn’t their physical design of scultping, but it’s that they have so many details that are not picked out with paint. For a customizer like me, I look forward to the field day I’m going to have giving all of them extra details and a wash, but thats also because thats what these really needed to pop. Airazor has an amazing head sculpt, but it needs color.

 

Mainline Airazor is clever, in a Energon Divebomb kind of way (robot legs as wings).

 

This figure would be 10x better if it had more color variation.

It just makes it look dull. It's not a bad figure by any means, but it doesn't wow either.

Interesting, Battletrap and Bee are also listed of early march on Pulse.
I also got an e-mail from Amazon saying that the two core classes will ship during mid-february.

 

My guess is he'll be bigger than Prime and have more accessories. He's shown using his swords and a chain flail (similar to his old BW 90s toy) so if they do all that and then also make him a big bulky boy that could add up to Leader.

Yeah I love BW stuff so I'm getting her regardless, but it'll be interesting to read the design writeups once they're available. The mainline stuff seems to be more "bayish" in how it plays with transformations while Studio suggests the movie itself tried to give people what (they think) we wanted with recreations of the original designs in a new style.

She looks so damn much like what I'd picture Beast Machines Silverbolt doing that I almost wonder if she isn't a pretool.

 

Definitely could be for sure, size and bulk of his Gorilla mode maybe.

Exclusive? I'm hoping to see it show up on Gamestop as I'd really hate to be stuck with the high shipping of Pulse.

 

I like the details on the feathers and her bot thighs, but I hate her head sculpt. This is one of the ugliest designs color-wise. Will only be getting the mainline one.

 

would you look at that. My theory is slowing becoming a reality as more and more gets revealed.

 

Do you know what I love about all these live action designs? You could show me them in a world where there is no live action movies, and I would accept them as the latest version of the character. Maybe Wheeljack I would be apprehensive about.

 

I absolutely do not care one way or the other, but I wanted to point out that this ROTB character is spelled Airrazor (two r's) versus Airazor as most prior versions have been spelled.
