I've enjoyed his appearances on the livestream events from his home, with his full display shelf in view of the camera!

Great details! And it is telling we do not see Scourge on this list, since it is clear he was made for Kingdom (hence why he has connector ports for the fossilizers)

Wonder if the comment about taking colors from the Blu-Ray from now on is more about the string of wiki-related mishaps of which Kup was included. I\'m more interested in learning why they aren\'t more thorough with their own reference material, but I suppose whatever mysterious pre-covid chaos they were going through (that of course got compounded by covid) might explain why they were just going off wiki images without double checking.

Cool to know how the whole weirdness with Grimlock\'s neck started. And here I thought they were gonna do a toy accurate or G2 repaint. Honestly for me, there are the PotP Dinobots for that hommage.

wonder if they still have plans to do a core Wheelie toy since it was nixed from being intially included with Grimmy

    This is great.

I really appreciate the insight and have loved the 86 line so far.

I get the scale and being able to sit on Grimlock, however I would have rathered a Wheelie around the same size as Cliffjumper and Bee.

If Wheelie could straighten his legs, he'd actually be about the same size as other core figures, which is just a bit shorter than Bee, and we are getting a proper Core Wheelie later this year.

Store listings put a Core '86 Wheelie in Studio Series, in the wave after the Spike wave, alongside Core '86 Ratchet.

I'm a bit late on this one but I was tired last night so I couldn't get around to it.

    Thanks for that.

I guess what I mean is, I would have preferred something bigger (and higher price point) than core class for Wheelie. That way we would be able to get something with better articulation (ankle tilts) and probably better likeness and transformation.

That said, we've seen nothing yet, so I shouldn't bad mouth it - could turn out to be awesome.

I know Hot Rod / Rodimus get a lot of love, but I really think Blurr is a fantastic, fun and intuitive figure. he looks great it both modes and is just great to play around with.

Looking at the current cores, I'm sure that Wheelie will be no worse than the TR version, and he could very well have ankle tilts as demonstrated by the likes of Rattrap and Iguanus. And while a taller Wheelie more in line with the WFC minibots would've been nice, I think this one will be close enough size-wise.

Given some of the other repaints that we are getting, I sure hope we see a magenta Hot Rod at some point.

The biggest issue with Blurr is his TR figure was so great that this new one felt weirdly redundant. It does a number of things better – and one or two worse – but ends up looking so similar. I’m with you, though, he’s a great figure.

Of course, when you’re dealing with him next to this Hot Rod, every figure will look just a bit duller…
