They were leaked

 

There's a massive thread titled "I'm drunk from leak squad I quit here's what I know" or something to that effect. Someone with insider information leaked out everything he knows a little while back, that's how we know about Sludge and Snarl, but Slag coming with Daniel was found in Walmart and Targets listings even earlier.

 

How do you know?

Sorry for been so annoying but the Dinobots in voyager or leader class is literally BIG NEWS!! I mean, I have the POTP but they look so small... I really wish big Dinobots (without selling my kidney for 3Ps) and I want to know if it worth investing now in the SS86 Grimlock knowing Im going to get the others... a dream come true since I already have a Sharkticon army (well 7 but you get me)

 

No problem! It's totally exciting that the new dinobots are coming out, especially since if Grimlock is any indication these are bound to be the best mainline Dinobots so far, and probably for a while to come. I also have the POTP Dinobots, but I'm probably just going to upgrade them into oblivion to be at the right scale lol.

I really want all the Dinobots at roughly the same height in bot mode. Swoop is obviously shorter, however ...

If Grimlock is the lone tall Dinobot something will definitely feel lacking in the set.

 

Well, Slag is confirmed as a Leader in store inventory systems.

Our leaker said Sludge and Snarl were also Leaders and that Swoop is a Voyager.

I wouldn't worry about Swoop being tiny though because we have Kingdom Cyclonus as proof that Voyagers can skew tall. Kingdom Cyclonus's height is about the perfect size for Swoop, really.

 

something i just thought about, what type of blast effect will wreckgar and swoop have(and any other rumored 86 voyagers that i forgotten)

 

Good point. Probably something relatively generic-looking like Scourge's, but it would be cool if Swoop got a fire effect.

 

Haven't actually thought about that yet. I would guess that swoop will probably have some kind of flame effect, if he comes with a sword than maybe a melee effect. Wreck-Gar will probably be some generic orange or yellow laser.

 

i think he would have a melee effect as well, as i don't think wreckgar used any guns

 

His original toy had a gun, so if they decide to include that then it'll probably be a gun laser, if not then yeah it'll probably be like an impact effect like Smashdown.

 

If it made any sense, I'd say that they could include one for his axe, but there's no room on said axe to fit one.

 

They could put one of those tabs like Springer and Siege Megatron's swords have on the blades of his axe, that would make the effect connect more like Lionizer's or the pterodactyl's (I forget how to spell the name)

 

True, I just wonder if they could pull it off effectively given that Wreck-Gar's axe is much rounder than Springer and Megs' swords.

 

Seconded. I hope they're large Deluxes to distinguish them from the others.

If the War For Cybertron trilogy is anything to go by(same 1:35 scale as SS86), they most certainly will be in scale with each other, with Swoop being around Doubledealer/Cyclonus height.

 

Does anyone else hope we get an updated version of Siege Astrotrain in the SS86 line? The original figure is very solid and well engineered, but I'd love to see a version without the distracting "cyber-greeble" and battle damage paint apps.

 

I am dying to see SS coronation Starscream with the remolded parts. Apparently jet mode looks weird!
