Given how fast Hasbro seem to tweak and improve their recent Primes, i am certain this will happen. The ss86 line has been superb and they are mostly locked in with the animated look. If Rodimus will get a commander class, then i fully expect Prime to be in that class with a proper trailer and accessories.

 

Nah, Earthrise Prime is the closest CHUG will get to an 84 Optimus, as all you need to do really is paint over the silver strip in truck mode and just live with the fact that he has truck bits on his legs, as they'd probably have to get rid of the trailer to come up with a way to hide the wheels in his legs.

Prime is the only character I could see getting duplicated in SS86, alongside the leaked Starscream. Other than that, we've already been told that WFC and SS86 are two halves of a whole.

We do. They aren't going to go long before releasing another Prime, though. A lot of expense went into making the ER mold, and they will pimp the hell out of it through 2021. But after 2 years and a half dozen or more redecos, you can bet they'll come out with a new one in 2022 or 2023.

While a new Prime with a line gimmick (like CW Prime, TR Prime, or Siege Prime) or some other Prime incarnation (like Powermaster, Armada, or RiD) are likely on the table, it would not shock me if they were discussing the possibility of a Commander Optimus Prime, especially if Rodimus does well.

I can definitely see ways to improve on the existing ER figure. Fix the proportions so the chest is bigger and legs shorter. Put some TF features into the legs. Maybe a rotating eye feature to give fans both blue and yellow. Include an axe and Matrix, some effects pieces, and upgrade the hell out of the trailer and you'd get an even nearer perfect G1 CHUG. The only question is whether fans would be willing to shell out for that so soon after ER Prime and its various incarnations (because you know Commander Prime would also get redeco'd to hell and back).

 

I would like to get a Decepticon Commander before Optimus. But I love the idea of a Commander Class Optimus.

 

I am sure they debate a lot of options, and if they really are going to do two Commanders a year, I would expect at least 1 in 3 to be a Decepticon. I think it is fair to say if the Commander class price point continues for more than 2 years past 2021, the odds of getting a Commander Prime approach 100%.

 

if it is g1 optimus not thanks, if it is commander armada optimus 100000000000000000000 times yes, the powermaster receive already 2 updates the titan returns and the legends, the g2 the titan return and reveal the shield, so please we need an articulated armada super mode optimus, energon , cybertron and car robots have good articulation but the armada one is a block we need him

 

Just thinking the only 86 Deluxe figure left is Gnaw. I think they keep 86 waves and bayverse waves separate. You honestly think they will have a wave full of Gnaws?
