Put me down as another who didn't really like RTS Jazz. I didn't like any figure with any amount of automorphing.

At the very least, who cares if he killed optimus? It is a very good looking toy and that is all that matters in my opinion.

Again, all of the shows have been done by animation STUDIOS. Also show me the DOTM concept art that has Thundercracker using a desing from the 5th movie :lol  Studio Series has had its fair share of ass pulls to fill out character slots

Kinda wondering will they do figures from the tf prime movie predacon rising or whatever it was called. A studio series prime predaking would be cool.

Not even, there's still plenty of G1 left to plunder. The main issue is that they keep doing and redoing and redoing figures from the 84-86 product line and not moving on from that. The new toys are great, but we still haven't gotten updates of a ton of the weirder and cooler stuff from late G1 onwards, and that's what annoys me.

I still love these new toys. Disregarding "ugh more g1," they look like very good action figures.

And if that qualifies, would the Cyberverse TV movies? Would Animated's movie-length premiere?

I can't be the only one bothered by Jazz's vehicle mode right? The figure looks great overall but the hood is just too short and the spoiler is way too large.

    Jesus Christ I hope so.

Studio Series Animated. I'd die for that, even if it means we wouldn't get any of the later season characters, another shot at Starscream and Optimus would be serene.

I love that Hot Rod, but I definitely won't be replacing my RTS Jazz...damned forearm gaps on the new one.

I'm not a huge car guy, so I'm fine with both of them, and I assume they're done both in service of the robot mode and to keep Porche of their back, but I can see how they're annoying.

In the main line? Since the Classics lines started back in 2006? Complete or near-complete G1 accuracy on a consistent, figure-by-figure manner the way they've been doing (Earthrise, Studio Series, and parts of Siege)?

No. Not really. In fact, not at all.

And I'm not talking about the occasional G1-accurate design (like the original Classics seekers), but a line-wide, G1-accurate homage. We haven't seen it on this level before.

...except that the Netflix cartoon is putting the "not so screen accurate" designs onscreen, making them retroactively screen accurate. Funny how that works...

Jazz is pretty sweet. First time they made him transform like in the toon, with the car doors not becoming wings. I like how the legs are designed!
    The packaging is great too.
