Slug is likely Studio Series Leader #3 this year, if he makes 2021.

ROTF Grindor seems to be Leader #2.

What's weird is that Grindor should have been released in this year's first wave, if they intended to keep the release schedule they've been following for the last few years. I wonder if the pandemic delayed him.

That and they are trying to balance the waves since the inclusion of 86 movie figures.

If the waves are balanced ( dedicated to 1 thing instead of mixing animated and live action ) than each one has a chance to sell before the other hits retail instead of a mix effecting the sales

They damn well better release a fancy updated Snarl if the rest of them are being done. First the movie shortchanging, and now this? Justice for Snarl! :lol

Also is there any word on how the sweep is supposed to differ from Scourge?

Seems to me like they didn't want to mix 86 and live action in a given wave, so usually Wave 1 of a given year would have 2 Leaders but they only put out Grimlock to coincide with an all-86 Wave.

I'm not sure if that was just Wave 1, though, considering that we still have multiple live action and 86 Deluxes left unaccounted for (Jolt, ROTF Sideswipe, Gnaw, etc.) and Studio Series typically only has 3 waves per year.

Multiple leakers have already said that new Snarl and Sludge are coming out. The poster is referring to the fact that multiple leakers also started that they do not know in which Transformers sub- line Snarl and Sludge will be released under i.e. Studio Series 86 or the new upcoming trilogy line.

Wow. Your post is about 90% wrong. Marvel Comics Galvatron, especially from the UK comics, is rivaled o of by the TFTM version. The comics version was probably better, and would be a fantastic repaint that many fans here have already stated they want. You don't want it, great, but don't act like it's irrelevant to the topic/conversation.

Okay? A cartoon show is still more accessible than a comic book because many people simply already have a television in their house. You need to buy a comic month to month to keep up and that's a hard sell on a parent. Therfore, what I said still holds. The cartoon is the more well known version, and frankly "Player 2" color schemes are boring and a waste of a release slot.

But hey, keep making up percentages and statistics. It's 90% entertaining for me.

And you keep on making these prickly, baseless assertions to justify your reasoning. It's 100% entertaining for us. Also, it's therefore. Pick that bar up.

In the eighties, comics were much more popular than they are today. So apparently it wasn't that hard of a sell. And the comic color scheme is actually "Player 1.". Go check out the original toy. The comics are widely available online now. I read them in the Titan paperbacks years ago, and that version of Galvatron immediately became my favorite. I'm sure many, many others have read the comics. Many people here have already said they'll buy the repaint. So your opinion on it does not seem to be a popular one.
But please, continue telling us how it's a bad idea.

Comic books were also not $4 an issue back in the 80s.

Would you say that he is chunkier than Grimlock?

I really like TR Gnaw. I normally don't army build but I regret now only buying 3 TR Gnaw at TRU. My local TRU which I used to frequently all the time had dozens and dozens of TR Gnaw. During the TRU liquidation sale, TR Gnaw was 50% off. I should have gotten at least 6 TR Gnaw - if only I knew when TR Gnaw was out that the Pit of Judgement would one day come out too.

I am looking forward to.see what SS86 Gnaw looks like. However, I don't know if I'm willing to pay $20 each and if I buy one, I probably want 3 of them. I am already looking to buy 3 Sweeps when they come out and just purchased 3 Deseeus Army Drones.

happy to say Slag has very eargasm ratchet joints! bot mode has close to no hollow , even no hollow arm! Dino mode suffer a bit with hollow back leg and no head articulation , but mouth still open wide , the eye sculpting is very cool too with the hint of pupils!
