I hope they DON'T make a commander class hot road, will be out of scale, we need different bots in commander class scale

It won’t be out of scale, he’ll be a Voyager sized figure with a battle platform trailer and a lot of accessories

I would have preferred no battle station. I just want him to turn into the bot and nothing else and be voyager size. Trailers are useless accessories that take up space. I'm not playing with these figures, so I don't need most accessories.

Price points do not directly correlate to size, there is no such thing as commander class scale

You guys say trailer is if it's going to be a separate part, but remember this is not a trailer that disappears, or combines with a deluxe. It they make a leader rodimus prime, all of him will be the transformer. They'd have to make a new mold. Think astrotrain but just using all of the plastic.

There's no reason to think there won't be removable alt mode kibble, to achieve a more screen-accurate robot mode. Look at Siege Shockwave and Earthrise Arcee, Cliffjumper, Ironhide, and Ratchet!

I can see there being the trailer mode G1-style chariot and also enough left over for a base mode or something!

    A. We know it's a Commander Class
    B. We know the trailer is based on the G1 Toy's battle platform.

ah ok, IF he will be simply voyager with more accessory, it's ok...no ruin my scale. But Honestly, I prefer in the same size as Jetfire bots like Tidal Wave or Broadside

I hate the idea of a removable trailer for Rodimus. What a waste. I don’t need a giant chunk of plastic that sits to the side when he’s in bot mode.

it’s one thing for Optimus, but makes no sense for a character like this

You sure it doesn't make sense? Because he's had a removable "trailer" for 34 years

One toy =/= a gimmick that has continually been used on every Rodimus figure for 34 years. Other than the first MP, the closest we’ve come to something like that being done again is the Power of Primes figure and that was armor.

also, g1 Optimus had removable hands, but I see we moved on from that.

Rodimus didn’t have a battle platform in the show (unless you count the transformation scene in “only human”) and definitely didn’t have a battle platform off to the side of the screen in the movie.

I still hold that it’s a waste. It doesn’t match the fiction and it makes the product less enjoyable by having an extra chunk of plastic that isn’t used in robot but is required to make the alt mode.

“wHy otHer peOpLe NoT hAVe mY oPInion?”

seriously dude, it’s not difficult to see why I, and many others, have this opinion.

It doesn’t match the fiction and we don’t like the play pattern. At least with Optimus, you have a complete alt mode if you leave the trailer to the side, but that is not an option with rodimus.

You know what else doesn't match the fiction? The trailer collapsing into the robot mode without mass shifting, creating a huge, massive bulky Rodimus. Because that's what we'd get out of a Rodimus Prime toy with a trailer that was part of the robot mode like the cartoon did.

Neither does a skylynx that’s too small to carry other bots while still being too big to match the scenes where he’s standing next to Optimus’s body in rebirth of Optimus. Matching an inconsistent cartoon scale is unachievable in many of our opinions, we just want a good figure.

Either way, you do you, if you want removable trailer, good for you, that’s what you’re apparently getting. Cheers, I hope you enjoy it.

Sky Lynx still looks the part perfectly. A Rodimus with a self contained trailer would not.

I don't really care about the trailer since it doesn't do anything in the show but integrating it into the robot mode is not the way and neither is dropping it from the alt mode.

Also, Prime's alt mode without his trailer is not his "complete" alt mode. He's a tractor trailer, not a semi truck.
