I'm not sure where you're going with this one, then. If they're not notably different, it doesn't matter. And if they are, then the Sweep won't make a good army builder for someone who wants screen accuracy, so waiting for it won't accomplish anything.

and that's exactly why collectors should preorder from online stores rather than take stock from store shelves. There's absolutely no reason to throw shade at people for army building a figure that reasonably fits the bill.

I pointed out that it doesn't matter if it makes a good army builder personally or not. It's not meant to be an army builder, and that's one of the reasons why it's short-packed.

I already stated the reason. And you haven't came up with a convincing argument as to why it's not a legitimate reason.

All I'm gonna say is you have no real place telling people how to spend their money or trying to make them feel guilty for doing so. In doing that you are acting like an aggressor, no matter how noble you might think you are being. Sweeps are identical to Scourge in the animation, therefore any Scourge figure is also a Sweep, even if a dedicated Sweep figure comes out as well. Saying Scourge isn’t a troop builder is like saying Gnaw isn’t a troop builder because he has a name.

Where have I told someone how to spend money?

Dude, cut the strawmen and let's move on. This isn't the thread for this nonsense.

You’re the one trying to throw shade at people for buying multiple Scourges, so how about you cut it out?

Guys, army building Scourge is so January 2021.
It’s February. Time to think different. I’m army building Grimlock and Jazz.

The confusing thing to me here is that, like, there isn't an official category of toy called "army builder" that you're supposed to buy multiples of. There are toys that look like a character model that gets used as generic filler (Sweep, Sharkticon, Vehicon, whatever), and fans who want to recreate those scenes buy several. Hasbro might intend for fans to buy several Sweeps, but it doesn't really matter if that's not the one people want; Scourge is the army builder if he's the one people buy multiples of. If people decided tomorrow they wanted to fill out their Seekers by buying lots of Starscreams, Starscream would be an army builder.

Those would be super awesome to see. One of mine is going to get the ToyHax treatment. One will remain toon accurate. The 3rd one is in case I break the translucent plastic on one. I love this Jazz but I’m definitely over translucent plastic on the transformation parts.

Some early morning Jazz to ease you into the day. And if it's bedtime where you are, sit back and relax. If it's somewhere in the middle, go and slam some fucking Lamb Of God on.

counter point, lot of people preordered multiple Scourges. So Hasbro should have seen the numbers and had an idea that there was a demand for multiples of this guy.

Cyclonus, scourge, jaZz, kup alone are toon accurate perfection... but them next ER Optimus, sunstreeker, and Seige hound and you put things in perspective. It’s 2021 I’m not building an 86 movie stand alone shelf... I can wait for the sweeps and bring on the rest of the properly scaled Dinobots... seriously I’m ready to preorder slag and Wreck gar :popcorn
