I am loving this figure. This really feels like what I wanted from Siege (and I still love Siege). An alien/futuristic alt mode, with a recognizable but still new robot mode. I love the leg transformation, and for some reason I don't even mind the giant hole in the vehicle mode. Speaking of, BB movie Brawn's alt mode looks like Technobots Afterburner and Nosecone had a baby.

After opening Wheeljack, Ratchet, and Brawn, Brawn is the winner for me. They all have merit, but my Ratchet and Wheeljack both have lose hip joints. Brawn is solid, has the best articulation, the least noticeable hollow areas, two decent accessories, and he feels like he's pretty well painted.

Not a huge fan of the movie-style face/helmet but this is a fantastic Brawn otherwise. An alternate head that's more IDWv1-inspired would make him probably the best Brawn toy we've gotten... ever?

Best bumblebee deluxe so far, my favourite thing is there's no exposed hinges or kibble shown, everything has its place and doesn't stick out like a sore thumb, all they need to do is upscale it and add some ratchets and they've got a masterpiece figure

Hi, my copy really likes to move both legs when I try to move only one of them at the hip joint. Tried to remove the screw from the crotch to get in there but it seems the waist swivel/pin holds it in place. Any tips on how to stop this annoyance?

Boy, he is a fun little rascal. Though it is a bit of a shame you cannot store the drill in vehicle mode on the inside, still attached to the port. There is a small tab visible, my guess is it prevents you from rotating the port 180° inward.

Smol boi is best boi of the wave

If I had a complaint I wish he had a little more color on him. He’s a little too “pea soup” for me.

These BB Cybertron figs have been fucking amazing. Brawn tops them all but honestly they’re all so good.

Makes me wish we’d get a redo of Optimus.

A tale of two "lets make an alt mode for a bot with no alt mode"

As someone who hates Cybertronian modes, I actually really like this one. It's got a real neat space industrial vibe, the sort of thing you'd see in the Spice Mines of Kessel or Pre-Thanos Knowhere. Would've been even better if the head/neck section could flip around so there was a flat truck bed there instead of a sorta hidden helmet, though maybe that's not viable at this scale.

    3mm compatibility, yay!

For how "GeeWun" that Bumblebee intro was, Brawn isn't all that G1. And honestly I'm glad for it. The homage is there but he's his own thing, like the other Movieverse Brawn homages were.

Wish those arms were better articulated. I mean, there's a fair amount in them already, but it feels like I have to fight them to get certain poses sometimes.

Still, I really like this toy, and it's astounding how a goofy round robot with no hint at a vehicle mode manages to get so much right.

This is weird... i think Brawn has a short leg and a long leg. Can anyone confirm if this is just a weird quirk of my copy? 20220415_201714.jpg

This figure looks amazing. Wonder if there’s any market for replacement heads with a more G1-style face. I understand why they look like this in the movie, but these faces are ugly as sin.

The mushroom peg isn't installed correctly on the "long" leg. You can see some of the post sticking out. I assume if you remove the two screws you could open the thigh and correct it.

Did the quick fix this morning. The reason I didn't do it sooner was everything aligned perfectly for the vehicle -I would have expected a more dramatic misalignment or something. Strange!

Got my copy yesterday. I like it a lot. I do wish there was a gap cover for the open neck socket in alt mode, more room for bicep swivel and more clearance to enable the front tire tabs to connect in alt mode. Otherwise, very impressive figure, love how it compresses in robot mode(torso and leg transformation in particular…I like how the leg transformation happens in 1 motion by bending the joints). I was pleasantly surprised to see just how well the back folded up, there was a high chance it would’ve been gappy and very noticeable but it wasn’t.

Pic request: can someone who has the SS BB Movie Brawn, Ratchet & Wheeljack take side by side photos of the guns next to each other & of both sides?

I can see they're similar but not identical and would like to be able to compare. Ta!

I guess I'm going to have to go Amazon to get this guy. Still only seeing Soundwaves around here. Debating whether I go for Arcee as well or wait to see Tarn.
