I don't have siege OP anymore but any modern transformer with 5mm hands should be able to use all this Prime's weapons. The stupid shield doesn't have a usable grip though since they decided to make it a normal peg so it will probably look weird.

Cool. I was wondering if the shield would fit in the COMBAT port on the forearm, like the axe shield.

It will be easy for someone to design it and put it on shapeways
I have a rough idea of the shape just a 5mm handle like a upside down L shape with a 5mm port on the other side which whould make a lop sided capital T to plug it into the trailer/weapons ring and on the other side of that a 5mm hole to plug the shield in

Just for you ;)  (not really, but I did think of you) Thoughts? I'm leaving the actual jetpack grey for now, but I'm super happy with what I've done so far. I also did a lot of the small details on the main figure just like I did to ss32.

Looking great, i love the contrast of silver with the dark interior of the ring mode! You think the static wheels are fixable to where they can be pinned to roll?

The answer is no, it appears that the trailer and the hitch on optimus himself is 6mm meaning the post is too big for any other optimus to use,

Hmmm, I don't know. They're one piece molded to the rest of that part of the trailer and they're hollow. If you cut them off and built a new wheel assembly where they could be attached then it could work but it'd be a lot of work. Or you could buy two and just replace them with the rolling wheels from the first set :D
I will tomorrow for sure. He's dancing around in bot mode now enjoying his newly painted accessories. Plus people pointed out that I forgot about the blue trim on the trailer so I gotta paint that :p
Really? That's messed up. However it should be easy to trim the peg down to 5mm.

shame that they are the size they are, it would of been cool to use the trailer on a bunch of primes

Hasbro is aware that we'd buy a ss38 trailer even if its a retool of this one...

Just got him! Need to do some more experimenting to see where I can keep the jet pack when not in use but I really like the weapons platform. Even got a place for the first OPs swords.

Personally I'd leave the paint job as is. Generally speaking, unless you are really proficient at painting and have an airbrush, any additional paint apps usually make the overall appearance look cheap.

I especially find blue a tough color to get right too. Adding that to the top of the beautifully applied spray paint silver/chrome might really cheapen the look.

I know I plan to just silver mine up when I get it, nothing more.
