You proved my point and put his arms straight down to his sides then move the arms forward without tilting them, you'll see kibble, its a lip on his back and sides but its enough to bug some people

I wouldn't necessarily call that kibble, as it's just part of the bot's back. The arm pieces are the only true kibble areas.

Yeah, one of the things that impresses me about this figure is how comparatively little kibble there actually is. The back is SUPER tidy. The forearms are junky, sure, but other than that and the bits on the tops of his shoulders, he's pretty clean.

But of course everyone's standards are different, and that's fine.

I like this figure a lot but all the parts on the legs won't tab together. Can anything fix this issue? Would floor polish help?

I know Peaugh mentioned loose gun storage under the truck, but I hadn’t seen anyone mention you can actually tab in the gun to the underside of the hitch. His hollow feet close around the side pegs and the gun clip fits in the void behind the trailer hitch.

If this isn’t intentional, then I’m not sure what is. If the gun were shorter by a single section, it would actually tab in the other way.

This figure has definitely grown on me as I play with him.

Does the gun clear the floor? I thought I tried this, but I could have sworn that the gun slanted downwards into the ground.

It slants down and barely clears. Barely. I had to check it a few times to be sure.

Those are the exact things i was talking about. Not so much protrusions, more in how if u touch em the wrong way stuff flips out.

I think it's OK, but ultimately a remold of the Seige voyager would have worked better. Too many panels, not very fun, and the back of the alt mode is a disaster. Those smokestacks look like straws... I regret purchasing this, Legendary Optimus Prime is already a good movie OP.

I've got to ask- how is the back of the alt mode a disaster? It's one of the most realistic alt modes we've ever gotten for an Optimus figure, with the tool rack, fifth wheel and open frame. It's actually one of the aspects I love the most about the figure.

    I don't know if it's realistic, but it's EMPTY.

That's realistic. Tractor tail ends are essentially just a frame with cross members and some other mechanical bits. The solid ends like what G1, MP and most movie versions have are completely inaccurate.

Here's a scale model of a Marmon cabover (not sure the year, but it shares a lot of similarities to the Marmon 97 that SS38 uses) that shows a decent amount of the back end. It's pretty empty. I think the toy makes it look emptier because the rails are further apart than they would be, to account for only having single-tire wheels rather than double.

Here's a good shot of a much older Marmon...looks like it's late 50s, early 60s. Again, the back is pretty empty.
