yeah, I'm glad I passed on the Titans Return Scourge. My three Generations Scourges will do nicely as this guy's sweeps.

The shell plus flat wings still bugs me but overall this toy definitely looks solid.
Oh same; I still have the Titanium, Botcon+sweeps, Generations 1.0, and both Legends and TR. So this guy'll definitely be a good looking boss to nice army of lookalikes.

I expected more. His wings could've just made up part of the vehicle and incorporated his legs for half of the front. It's just that fembot from Cybertron all over again. No REAL effort put into it. No creative transformation takes. Just a 23$ articulated Action Master. Again, I'm disappointed.

I keep forgetting this fandom has really low standards :/

Ultra Magnus is also disappointing. But considering this is a thread about Scourge I fail to see the relevancy of your point.

His wrists line up with the bottom of his crotch. That's a normal, average arm proportion.

Scourge has had unusually good luck with toys. He was one of the very few even tolerable Titaniums, and though I don't own it--his Botcon toy was based on a very good mold, his Generations toy was good if taking more artistic license with the alt mode, and his TR/Legends toy was excellent (I have, like, four of that).

But this is just absolutely beautiful.

Just hope they reveal slightly retooled sweeps before I buy 4-5 Scourges.

Seriously? Huh, I guess it just my personal preference. I like the head, alt mode, and colours on the new one, it’s just the back kibble that bothers me, it’s literally the entire alt mode. TR scourge was a shellformer too, but he was one with minimal kibble, and I preferred that a bit more. If the Cape cleaned up a little better I’d go with this one all the way.

    Give me three of these

    wait wrong thing, sigh

Scourge looks really nice, my only complaint is that one arm is open(would've liked the new hand opening feature to be at least on most voyagers, one could only wish  ), the hand reminds me kind of like Siege Soundwave in the position for his cassettes, but otherwise great looking figure!

Given the smaller scale of Leaders these days, I'm pretty okay with that.

dude, same. the hell of this current world is just too goddamn much these days.

The relevance is expecting the line that's going for high G1 accuracy to not make Scourge a shellformer when he has his giant "cape" on his character model. Likewise incorporating the Magnus Armor and the white Optimus core is the best way to do it even if it's a partsformer. Expecting anything different is not the fault of the toy but a just you having the wrong expectations for this line.

Of course you could just prefer a different style of figure, but then again you're in the wrong thread for that. (Not saying you don't have a right to you're opinion, but you'll definitely get roasted for it)

Not the time or the place, and this figure does look fantastic. I just hope people wait till Hasbro and Takara properly release them versus talking about the few that get them before they get released

Between Kindgom Cyclonus, Kingdom Galvatron (not yet revealed) and now Studio Series 86 Scourge, it looks like Unicron's hoards will be released before his own arrival. Dun dun duuuuuunnnnnn!!!!!!!
