    Not familiar with this particular kickstarter, but on others, adding a perk is just increasing your donation so they get to a goal. You could just add 1$ perk, then add the 25$ add on on a second donation. Even then its not guaranteed that the head will be made (based on posts here), its more of a gauge on how much support there was for the head. If they get 1000 orders, and all 1000 want the head, they will do it, if they get 1000 orders and only 3 orders for heads, its prolly not worth the factory to make them.

    So I've never backed indiegogo before. I know in Kickstarter, they always say there's no guarantee you'll get the item but, if the campaign fails to make its goal, you're never charged. In this case, I was charged immediately. If this fails and the project is cancelled, do we get refunded?

    Never used it either, but based on the wording, it looks like you can get a full refund up to the day before the campaign ends, after that its up to OZ to refund you?

    I think I donated too many times! I'm no good with these systems - don't do much with crowdfunding - I'll figure it out at the end either way
    ------
    Found how to refund and redonate so fixed it either way thanks

    Seems like if you use the GPay option right up front, you can't add-on anything... have to use the checkout, then you get the add-ons. Weird.

    Haslabs Unicron is approx 30" in planet mode. Looking at the pictures, I'd estimate a little over half of that is the rings, which would put his planet sphere somewhere between 12" and 15". This Cybertron is 12" which means that it's roughly the same size or a little smaller than Unicron. So it'll be quite a mouthfull to Unicron, but considering how big Cybertron's moons were next to him in the movie and how big the planet was next to Unicron's robot mode, I'd say Cybertron ought to actually be quite a bit bigger than him. I'm pretty sure, however, that the writers intended them to be roughly the same size and it just didn't come across very well visually (very few people are able to imagine on a planetary scale, much less draw on one).

    TL;DR: yeah, it should be right around the size you'd want a Cybertron to be next to Haslabs Unicron. You'll have to fake it a bit since this is a hemisphere and Unicron is a full planet, but that shouldn't be too difficult. The only problem I see is that this statue is going to make Unicron look like a cheap piece of plastic next to it :cool:

    They way I understand it, you shouldn't be charged until the campaign is finished. I'll contact Indiegogo and see if they can shed some light.

    But either way, I am not taking anyone's money unless we can deliver. I'm already spending my own money to get the molds set up at the factory so we can begin casting right after Chinese New Year, but I will not risk a nickel of someone else's money.

    That's appreciated. I actually prefer being charged up front rather than having to remember that a chunk of money still in my account is already spent. As for the risk thing: I wouldn't mind a non-refundable deposit kind of thing (not the full amount of course but like a quarter of it or something) simply because I know there's a risk here and asking you to shoulder it alone is unfair, but I doubt most people would go along with that.

    Okay, so you do get charged up front (something I didn't know), but Indiegogo holds all the funds until the end of the campaign. If we don't reach the goal then I simply don't claim the funds and instruct Indiegogo to refund all backers.

    You should edit the first post here to have the link to the kick starter at the very top as well so its not buried in page 3.

    This is awesome, I'm going to run some number and figure out how I can back this.

    Contact a 3rd party News Mod and they can put something together for the front page.

    I contacted one and got this;

    "we don't usually FP non-official Kickstarter projects."

    So just keep passing the word around i guess.

    I'm thinking front-paging this might risk getting the attention of an overzealous Hasbro lawyer. Better to be safe than sorry.
