FYI, thanks to some good advice I have switched the campaign over to Indigogo and am just waiting for some final numbers from the factory before we go live. I set up a preview page so let me know if this is working.

That is looking great! Can't believe you're able to get it done for so cheap. I was expecting to either eventually get around to saving up for one or just never get around to it and now I think I'm in for two of them. Keep us updated.

...consider offering a retailer tier for volume discounts to specialty merchants, something that scales appropriately for large orders: they’re the mechanism by which this will be made available to folks who don’t hear about the campaign in time to back it, or can’t afford the purchase right now...

...i love the soundtrack in your banner video!..you’ll need to start working on contacts at all the major fandom sites, retailers, and reviewers to share news of this campaign as soon as possible...

...as far as add-ons are concerned, whether now or as a future follow-up, i’d love to have a couple of moons hanging out in orbit with unicron’s head...

I wish you all the luck. Your work is absolutely stunning and completely tasteful, to boot.

I can not afford your items, but sure wish I could!

I dig it and will keep my eye on this. I thought it was the full planetoid but with it more of a wall decoration it can work for almost anything.

Can you share how will the light up LEDs work? Battery powered switch on the unit itself and not a remotely controlled one I assume?

How feasible would it be for me to buy two of these and stick them together, back to back, to make a full sphere?

This is a great idea! LEDs don't get hot so nothing would stop you from doing this in theory.
Will also take a bit of the sting off from my my wife not letting me get the Haslab Unicron...

Excellent. I'm already getting one of the hand made Full FX versions, but for that price I may support this and get a resin version, just to have one.

I didn't want to leave anybody out, which is why we are giving away five of them and a bunch of the smaller rewards. We included a $1 donation level that will automatically enter you to win.

We haven't finalized anything with the factory yet, but the ones I make use a 12v plug in adapter with a wireless remote control. Since I hate batteries, I'll be trying to get something similar for the factory version

Not feasible at all. It would just look like a big, weird robo sandwich.

A full sphere would need to be designed and molded that way to start with and it would cost several times more.

It will come permanently attached to the backdrop/display stand, then?
