Lucky me, tomorow is ACT Wednesday, so us Sophomores don't have school. I'll definately be hitting up every store within reach, with a list of product numbers in one hand, and the soon to be empty wallet in the other.

Were Optimash Prime and the Robot Heroes covered under the street date, or are those considered non-movie toys? Those and Leader-class Prime are the only ones I really want right now. The rest'll depend on how much I like the characters in the movie.

 

I was hoping to have some time to recover from a recent MP TF binge. Lucky for me I only have interest in a couple of movie toys.

Why hasn't this been front paged?

And you know the scalpers who troll TFW2005 will be out in full force tomorrow. Silly rabbits, there will be butt loads of movie toys!

 

I was wondering why this hasnt been front paged too.........maybe there still taking it with a grain of salt and need more confirmation.........

I honestly don't normally go for pre-release goodies, but the pictures I kept seeing were so flipping good that when I saw ol' IRONHIDE up for grabs (from China, of course!) my resolve just cracked this once.
I don't intend making a habit of it and am waiting for the rest to arrive officially.

Im actually a little peeved at this. I was hoping to walk into target on june 2nd and find freshly stocked shelves of movie toys. Now without the date being anything important, it just seems like it's telling the stores, nah put em out whenever you want, which can be interpreted that they can put them out later than the original date too. So its just another normal annoying hunt. I wanted an event...like the spiderman 3 toys.

 

  What, WHAT, WHAT!? Ah well this is just prime. May is the "I have no money as it's everyone's birthday/mothers day" month. Figures the toys would get out early then.   Ah well, if I even see the toys here early I'll be surprised.  

Ohhhh, okay. Hey!   That explains why I saw the Spider-Man 3 figures on the shelf at Toys-R-Us weeks before that "Web-Slinger Weekend" thing. They took them off the shelves toot-sweet though; the next day I went back & they were all gone.

That's true, I remember when I was working at Blockbuster Video we'd get the movies due out Tuesday, on the previous Wednesday.

Here here! The movie toys I'll probably also buy as I'm a Toy Collector 1st & a transformers fan 2nd, but the Real Gear Robots I'm all over like white on rice. Seeing as they're like 7-8 bucks a pop, I'll probably just make my wallet cry & buy the whole 1st wave at once. Now..whether that includes Booster X10 & Zoom Out 25X will only add to my wallet's sobbing.  

Yeah, same here. One of my local TRU's that I visited had a butt-ton of Preview TF's on the pegs. I'm talking they must have put out every single Preview TF they had in stock. They still have some non Movie TF's, but mostly that last wave of Deluxe Cybertron & a few Classics OP's, Megs' & JetFire's.

even if they're allowed to, at least in my area, they're not going to. most of my walmarts are extremely slow and TRu's not really any better. target is who knows.

 

I pretty much agree. While it may be nice to get them early, now it may be tough to find them in force.

Perhaps June 2nd will still be a restock day/event.

 

This sucks! I was so looking forward to just walking into a store on June 2nd and being able to buy everything. Now it's going to be the same mess to find anything whenever there's something new out. I suppose once WM or someone change their Spider-man displays to Transformers I'll be able to find the movie toys, but until then most of the regular TF pegs are full of Cybertron and Classics still here.
