I was thinking about this yesterday. The idea is to make more cards playable. So what would you like to see upgraded. I’ve seen people online request Jazz and W1 Grimlock. How about you guys? Personally I want to see them make some of the Starter Set cards more usable. Maybe give the Autobot starter cards some added abilities.
Oh I like that idea. 2S Megatron gets a stratagem called: "Share the Wealth" that says "change the text on Megatron - Cybertronian Tyrant bot mode to read 'When you play an upgrade -> this gets +4/+2 until end of turn'" or something it needs to be a decent buff though since he'll be 8 stars. Or a stratagem called "I need this" that says "change the text on Megatron - Arrogant Ruler alt mode to read 'When you flip to this mode, play an upgrade from scrap'" I just want better megatrons.
I want to see a Stratagem that says if your opponent interprets cards like it was a Davinci Code hidden message and/or doesn't thoroughly read them -> They automatically lose the game.
Make wave one grimlock MORE playable? I don't understand? He's not? Anyways wreckgar, i totally agree with you in general. W1 Jazz was like using paper-rock-pierce, but now with black pips is totally unless. With out even looking at a list off the top of my head: That unless-Deadlock card, Slag and Snarl, Hound, and Ramjet. And i'm sure a few others. And not that these characters need extra love, i would like to see a few set with out these guys...but still! It's a shame these cards are more or less wasted card-bored: Megz Living weapon, and the two Primes who ARN'T battle field legend, the common star-scream, I don't think saw much play at all. These cards have a star count. 7 stars should be worth 7 stars no matter how rare or common it is.
Love the idea of upgrading the cards from the starter decks! Would be a good strategy for Wizards, too. More people would check out the Starter decks. I also think W1 Jazz needs an upgrade like this, he has become so irrelevant since the intro of the black pips. How about some love for Demolishor?
Demolisher getting an alternate alt mode ability would be cool. Maybe Jazz could get just a totally new ability. He'd still only be 7 stars, so a good aggro ability could have him sit alongside Prowl as the "third car" option in different builds.
Perhaps this is something for the people behind the custom card sets... How about a Strategem for the "vanilla" Character cards in general? Like Ruckus or Novastar.
