i think it's that they're in overload tbh. We just got UM MK3 Sub, IJ2 Aries v1 is about to show up, Jin just showed up, but think about the large amount of figs they've shown that haven't released and how long ago they showed off what has released in the last 90days
I remember the general audience feedback on those wasn't too kind. Maybe the Storm people read some of those comments and decided to go back to the drawing board on them for a couple years (I thought they looked good, but other fans were pretty quick to be openly negative about them).
Yeah, I don't get it. They look like Kitana and Mileena. I don't know what people were expecting. Maybe they wanted MK3 versions with v cut on their suits. Personally I'd take 2 or 3.
To me, those old Mileena and Kitana prototypes had vertically squished hips, thunder thighs, shruggy shoulders, and the arms were too thick with a really ugly bicep swivel. Thick arms and thunder thighs work with Street Fighter, but MK is supposed to be more naturalistic in terms of proportions (but still stylized). Tyris is shredded, so a bicep swivel looks fine on her and her arms and legs seem thinner and more naturalistic. I think Storm can do better females now than when they showed the MKII ladies.
Yeah, they probably can do better now. Anyone know what happened to the Kintaro announcement? We heard about it but never saw anything.
That's a pretty regular occurrence with Storm actually. We saw a teaser for Cage a few months back too (side shot of his head without his glasses) and nothings been shown of the figure since. They can be really odd with their announcements.

Haha yeah if I'm getting greedy, I want the Bad Bros. too! They can just re-use the Death Adder body, I think they were just as huge. Give me a $200 two-pack haha. Also, the elves! Which are labelled dwarfs in that pic, right next to Gilius! lol I was hoping they'd be thrown in with people for extras, but all the mounts are pretty awesome to have.
I’d take it. Long Moan could come with a couple of dwarf-gnomes. I had forgotten about him but that Lt. Bitter would be the top of my list right now.
First priority to doing what they can produce from the original game, but if they do and move on to other games in the franchise, I'd love to see them use their experience from making Motaro from Mortal Kombat and make Dora the Centauress from "Revenge of Death Adder".
Yeah. GA is such a home run. I love if you flip through the stills on BBTS it’s a stop-motion axe swing. I think I need a second copy of Death Adder.
The seamlessness is an added bonus too. Definitely makes larger figures where joints are more noticable that much better.
The StormCollectiblesUS Twitter doesn’t really seem to k IW what’s going on with actual Storm. I’ve seen them tweet and quote retweet random stuff like that before, I wouldn’t pay too much attention to them
