What do you think of the set? I'm very tempted - Golden Axe was the first arcade game that wowed me (I had never seen graphics like that on anything before) and was what I always fed my quarters to until TMNT came along. This set looks really good, and the dragon in particular looks amazing.

Same this game was incredible back in the day, have it on my iPad now. I’ll tell you Friday night. Not happening until then.

So Bluefin is having a sale and I came out with 7 Storm figs..... fuuuuuuuu. No Raiden and Scorpion. I decided late, but I still managed to get a free Sektor. Would've gotten 2 free Sektors if all the items were available at once though. Can't wait for those to come in.

The SDCC exclusives are on BBTS last I checked, out in a preorder for Scorpion. Was always interested in this line, but this one got me to actually order one, so down another rabbit hole I go...

So I haven’t bought a Storm release before this is my first. I loved GA as a kid so this was an easy buy for me. The rubberized body on the hard plastic frame is really nice and enjoyable to pose. I hope the rubber holds up. But holy shit is this a blast to play with. Everything works so well it poses like an absolute dream. I looks natural in every pose. I realize for most of you a Boris Vallejo 80’s muscle-man in tiny briefs with feathered hair riding a giant chicken looks crazy but I love this damn thing. I do hope it sells enough to get some more characters. I am definitely getting a second copy. @Rewind

My daughter is also nuts for dragons. She’s not touching this. I buy her enough How to Train Your Dragon stuff to keep her away.

I just realized what looked ‘off’ to me - didn’t Ax Battler have black hair in the game? Or did he have blonde hair in the home version?

It’s actually dark brown but looks pretty black. But it’s very blondish in the Boris art.

They based it more on the Dolph Lundgren-esque cover art.

Yes it’s quite literally the box art.

I’m thinking later on they’ll do a single release of Ax with darker hair and maybe more accessories.

Yeah, the figure design seems like a love letter to the Boris Vallejo / Julie Bell art style popular during that time, which I wholeheartly support.

Seems like a Blue Dragon is inevitable, maybe packed in with Tyris Flare. I just worry about Storm making females. They always seem to have bolder shoulders.

That might explain why it's been a while since their last female figure while they experiment more.

Eager to see these guys make Genjuro and Hanzo from Samurai Showdown. They literally have the licenses for most of the popular 90’s arcade fighting games. If the PVC they use isn’t prone to tearing apart over time, I might pick some of these up.

Hell they even got SOUL CALIBUR. Their Nightmare is going to look awesome(not sure if they announced him but why wouldn’t they make him?).

:lol  About the only thing I don't like about them getting all these fighting game licenses is how much money it's going to cost me and I'm not even a completionist with these! :lol

Just get one gigantic Toothless between the two of you so she won't get to you, should you ever get an MP-scaled Transmetal 2 Megatron or an MP Deathsaurus, haha.

Definitely man. I’m glad they at least come with stands(forgot if they all do but I was under the impression that they did). And they don’t seem hard to track down.
