The pricing is the most bullshit I've ever seen. In this economy the figures they shit out are laughable.

And don't get started on Storage Wars Texas and those moronic arts and crafts ladies.

I know that's been called out at least once as set up also.

I'd be shocked to find any of these reality shows that isn't set up or fake.

 

I am not sure how far the fake goes. Obviously you have junker storage units all the time. I am sure if they cannot fill a show they will throw some shit in there for the heck of it.

However, I think that their are some real cases as well. I think the real stuff is better then the staged. So occasionally they hope something stellar is in there so that the reality stars get a shock themselves, which comes off better on tape.

So I don't think it's 100% rigged. Just rigged when there is nothing for a whole episode. Even though I have seen some episodes where they don't get in shit!

Next thing you know, they are going to tell us the Deadliest Catch is staged.

 

the only thing I dislike on any of the Storage Wars (other than Hester) is the outcome of any Jenny Grumbles win. She takes trash, slaps paint on it and sells it for big money. Lot of the items looked fine and maybe needed a nice new varnish, but nope, she paints it grey or canary yellow or some crap. People really buy that crap?

Who cares if the show is even slightly rigged. It has Barry Weiss. That makes up for anything...
