I'm currently rearranging my collection and have decided to pack up the Titans for the time being. How big of a container would I need for Metroplex, Fort Max, Trypticon and Omega Supreme? I know it will be a big one, but I don't know how big.
You probably need something at least 2 and a half feet long probably about a foot and a half wide and I'd say 2 feet tall maybe more depending on which titans you have and how many you have
All in one? Or you can deal with one in each. Trypty is tough since he can't really collapse, but I've put Metro sitting/bending at the waist into these: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B001RCUNJ8/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1 Might be able to fit a Metro/Fort Max and a disassembled Omega in one.
I was looking to do all in one, but that might not be feasible. Might do 2 of each in a bin like you posted. I know partformers are despised, but I really wish they broke down some for storage.
Better idea: Send them to my house and I will happily “store” them for you. I agree with the recommendations to not store them all in one bin since there’s a good chance that some part of some bot may end up under some significant weight. At the very least, transform them into their most compact arrangement (probably a variation on their transport modes) and pad everything.
Okay, so this is one of those "half serious/halfassed" answers, but what you could do is buy a ton of those dollar store not-lego bricks, build them into boxes at least two bricks thick around each titan in whatever mode you wanna store them in, then super glue the bricks together (leaving the top to be opened or some similar sort). Boom, custom storage. Or you could go for the "Really Useful Boxes" brand, that's what I use to store my planetbots and it works pretty well.
I bought one of these to store my generations figures, and they smell weird. I've had them in storage since december of last year I believe, and from what I can tell the figures are fine, they just smell. Should I be concerned?
