I am looking to obtain storage boxes with foam inserts similar to the cardboard boxes that come with Generations Selects figures. I have some loose figures that don’t have their original packaging that I want to keep stored up securely. I realize the size and shape of the foam insert will vary for each figure. Any idea if this is available? Thanks.

One of my eventual goals is to make foam inserts like the ones FunPub used for their exclusives. I don't know how it was done, though. Can foam be cut cleanly and in perfectly straight lines by hand? Anybody have any protips?

Depends on what type of foam you're talking about.. foam boards type and such, just a paper cutting board will work fine, roller type would probably be better, otherwise a self-healing mat, a good metal ruler or square and a good paper cutter, (x-acto type). You just need to angle your blade properly to cut through the foam and not force it... but you do need very shape blades.

And lots of practice, or you can also do frames that would be "stencil type".

edit: If you're talking about the white foam (the compressed little white balls stuff), you might consider a heat cutter (wire) setup.
