I'm sure I speak for everyone here when I say we all greatly appreciate your talent.

Your Marvel comic animations are my favourites because I grew up on the G1 UK comic and unlike your work on the cartoon scenes, you're having to start from scratch.

I love how you took the short 5 page Flashback story and expanded on it by having Prowl travel through more than just the UK comic timeline.

Seeing Marvel Scorponok brought to life, ironically just before he's killed, is just magical.

How the ray of sunlight looks and how Sludge gleams as he lazily eats the vegetation would make any Renaissance artist envious.

I love how besides animating those early comic book scenes of Shockwave defeating the Autobots, your vibrant use of colour further enhances each clip.

The Jhiaxus scene is how a proper G2 show should have looked. The lighting makes it appear more polished.

I could go on but my words could not adequately describe the awe which your work holds us all in.

Grats on 4000 posts! I'm amazed by your work as ever.

I particularly like the Ectotron and Gigawatt clips - did you do them in a different framerate? The animation seems a touch more fluid and even more akin to what we see in the live action movies, combined with the lighting, makes them fit right in with the live action footage, especially on the BTTF one!

Round of a applause to you man!

Thanks! I added the gruesome Zarak death as a Halloween gag, hopefully it doesn't spoil the poignant moment! (were it in a video, I would cut before the gory part!).
Wow thanks so much! I'm rather humbled now :lol  But yeah much as I love the toon, I definitely grew up on the Marvel UK comic and I love bringing it to life (though it always involves extra work).
Cheers, yes 4000 and still no end in sight! Doing those crossover gifs I knew they had to flow as seemlessly as possible (both of them involved continuing the motion already established by the real vehicles in the shots) so it was a matter of matching up and following on.

I did perhaps add more smoke and mirrors than I usually do, in the sense of motion blur and exhaust etc, again just trying to mimic the footage, which may help the animation look more fluid compared to some of my other work.

Forget Detolfs or Billy cases. Shockwave knows the best way to display one's Autobot collection

    You're extremely welcome!
This is another reason why I do the round ups every 1000 posts - I'm sure most people dip in and out of this thread and miss some stuff along the way (or some folks may be new to it entirely and not want to wade through such a big thread!) so it's a second chance to see the work. After all, it has been three years since #3000!
I do feel like a magician sometimes! :thumb

You might think, having not posted in here since August (!) that I'd have loads of transformation gifs to share. Well, no transformations, but here's the Beast Wars ReAnimated sequence I've been working on!

The video version, with soundtrack, is up for your enjoyment on my Patreon. I intend to keep animating to the end of the scene, and that will eventually be a YouTube video :thumb

Oh man this is awesome. That scene gave me chills as a kid, it was the most awesome thing ever to see the Beast Wars characters on the Ark :)

I wasn't a fan of Beast Wars when I saw it initially. That said, I wasn't collecting when it was out.
A few years later, I gave it another chance when I picked up a UK dvd featuring 7 episodes including The Agenda. I was enjoying it but when they showed the Ark and later Ravage, I hadn't been so excited about a Transformers cartoon since I saw the 86 movie in the cinema.

I absolutely love that scene where Megatron enters the Ark.

It was a stand-out moment for sure!
I'm similar, didn't really think much of BW at first. It seemed like a reboot for one thing, which I didn't like on principle. Was definitely not keen on the toys. But I kept an eye on the cartoon because it would occasionally throw in a G1 easter egg. Then of course they suddenly revealed it was Earth all along, it was prehistory, the message from original Megs, and WHAM those flashbacks and finding the Ark! Well played, Beast Wars writers, well played! :lol

Another thing that won me over was one of the extras on the dvd I bought. It was a back story/history that tied it into the G2 comic with the Swarm.
