Ha! Thanks. It was in my head while I was creating the gif. Had watched the Phil Collins film 'Buster' the night before on tv, and that track must have stayed with me. I'd not seen the movie in years, but it was supposedly in HD and I wanted to see what the transfer looked like (existing releases are rubbish apparently). Spoiler; this showing also looked rubbish!

On a random Phil Collins tangent... I tweeted just the other day about a prop in the 1993 movie 'Frauds' (also starring Mr Collins). There's a giant-sized G1 Optimus Prime in one scene, and I was pondering where it came from (not to mention where it went!). In a nice TF twist, that's Hugo Weaving (voice of Bayverse Megatron) in there too!

No modern home can be complete without a random G1 Optimus Prime the size of a person.

Is that Weaving hanging upside down next to Prime?

I've not seen any Phil movies unless you count Hook. I like (most of) his music though. :)

    I'd seriously consider it! :lol
Ok, hear me out, the chest windows open Matrix-style and inside is a display shelf for your G1 toys! Right? Going on Dragon's Den with this, who wants to back me?!
I think he only did a handful of acting roles, but he was always a bit of a showman... I've been a Genesis fan for a long time and he certainly hams it up nicely in videos like 'Jesus He Knows Me'! His solo music didn't appeal to me as much, with a handful of exceptions.

Sadly, Hugo Weaving has failed to record any prog rock records, as far as I know

Which dragon do you think will be on board? I would be. Sounds cool.

I like 80's Genesis, but not the Gabriel era. Which is ironic because I like Gabriel's solo stuff. Hmm...

Yeah I grew up on the 80s material so that's my favourite era, but there's something to enjoy in all of it for me, and of course Phil was around doing the drumming and backing vocals even early on. I do prefer Peter's solo work, but Steve Hackett has also done some great solo albums.

I'm not even sure which Dragons are still there tbh! Wonder if any of them like TFs :lol
I suspect it would be a very niche market!

Make it a modular interior so it can also have the option to serve as a drinks cabinet, and we're on! ;)

EDIT: Oooh, wait! That can be the G1 toy chest opening version!

Maybe Deborah Meaden is a closet TF fan.

    Here are some stop motions.
they were at a higher frame rate but the file was too large.

Whenever I finish a ReAnimated video I always feel the need to have a break from the characters and situations I've been slaving over for months, and do something a bit different.

Or just chill out for a while away from it all...

Are you manually post-processing each frame to make these?

As someone said on Reddit, insert Jurassic Park theme here! :thumb
It's all done very much as if it were old-school cel animated. So I've got multiple layers for every photo/effect in Photoshop, which lets me play around editing and tweaking angles and positions etc, and means I can fix a body part (Prime and Megs torsos, Sludge's body) in position while only animating the necessary bits, just like in the old cartoons. And then I render the frames one by one and use those images to create my gif/video.

Always nice to see Marvel get some love. It's just more special to me if pictures from a comic start moving through toys.

You might like this next bit then!

Inspired by a recent re-read of the comics, and still in a state of mind where I wanted to animate something other than MTMTE before I get back to work on it, I decided to bring Shockwave's comic conquest to life...

Arrives and immediately takes No Shit:

First priority of The New Order... Watch some tv:

"Let me show you my collection of Transformers..."

One Last Autobot watches from the shadows as Shockwave returns to the Ark carrying a defeated Megatron:

And of course, that iconic cover:
