I'm in. First round's on me! Good pubs in Sheffield? Decent brown ale?
I'll hold you to that round! A few decent pubs here. I see you're in... oh, the Eye of Orion. Nice. I visited there once; very tranquil (genuinely, see attachment).
I'm brimming over with envy. I'm only in the Eye of Orion in spirit. I've yet to visit Great Britain, but when I do that's one of the places I intend to visit. I want to spend quite a bit of time in Wales. The world's largest secondhand bookstore is in Northern Wales.
Highly recommended! As you probably know, The Eye of Orion is also conveniently located near the Hurndall Doctor's garden, which is very picturesque (family home of Clough Williams-Ellis, of Portmeirion fame: another must-see location).
One day I shall visit. Yes, I shall visit. Until then, there must be no regrets, no tears, no anxieties. Just go forward in all your beliefs and prove to me that I am not mistaken in mine.
This was pure gold! With all of the negativity surrounding Haslab Unicron, this was a welcomed diversion! Speaking of which, we can expect something when that time comes, right?
If Unicron does come to pass, if I somehow get him, and if I'm still animating at that point...
This is fantastic OTL.
this is legitimately the best stopmotion I've ever seen
Here come the boys...
Growing up I was always jealous that the Decpticons could fly in any mode. Especially the Seekers.
Great job capturing that with your clip.
Thanks! Having that many together in one shot is not as easy as it looks
Of course a few minutes later the Autobots show up, flying unaided. Not sure if I should try to retcon that (I could put jetpacks on them?) in light of later lore that they don't fly.
Just beautiful OTL. I’m now residing in Yorkshire, so seriously, game for a pint
Suits me sir! It would be interesting, having never done a convention or a pub meet or anything, to chat TF in person
I'd say that they should have jetpacks that somehow end up broken/out of fuel, it would explain the flight discrepancy without having to toss in the more recent ground bridge system or anything to distinguish the Autobots, especially since later on in the show they emphasize that Megatron and the cons ruled because they were literally built tougher and could fly.
You know. I completely forgot that the Autobots could fly for a few episodes. Then suddenly grounded. Think I blocked that out in my memory. Thanks for reminding me.
As a kid my internal logic was that the Autobots COULD fly if they chose to but not as fast and it was very fuel inefficient and since they were trying to not consume our natural resources they opted not to fly.
Then the aerialbots turned up and I abandoned trying to make sense of it!
Funny, didn't get the alert about new stuff being posted here.
Ah the wonders of OT's magic. Always brings a smile to my face. Brilliant as always!
