there better be.. all they really need to do is reshell the updated bumblebee. i'm worried that we're not going to get all the characters in the main line. we still need stinger, the different vehicons, the rally car (if it is in fact a transformer), the wolves, and maybe even another bad guy that hasn't been shown yet (if there is another). it's not looking good.

No. They do not need to reshell AoE bumblebee. They should reshell if anything, RoTF Bumblebee otherwise this continued trend of shrinking toys and upping prices to screw the consumer Is going to result in twenty dollar scout class toys in the next year or two.
wasn't it said after toy fair that hasbro had already shown most of the line. and since then we've seen two dinobots, lockdown, and helicopter drift. i'm thinking we have a pretty good shot at getting stinger, but i don't have much faith in getting a larger version of lockdown, the vehicons, or the rally car (if it is a transformer) i hope i'm wrong.. but they've done this too many times in the past for me to have any faith that they'll give us every character.. hell, even if they make a mold for every character, who knows if they'll all even hit the shelves. again, i hope i'm wrong.
i'm as annoyed as everyone.. but since bumblebee and stinger have almost the exact same robot mode.. it would make sense to reshell bumblebee.. reshelling any other bumblebee wouldn't work since the transformations are COMPLETELY different, which would make stingers robot mode look straight up wrong.
The Hasbro press release at Toyfair said that there were 14 Deluxe toys for 2014, and we already seen 10 officially... and another 3 were in the leaked Hasbro database from last year (which included the Rally car, something called PDQ, and Stinger). From the leaked toy list, the only toys to be revealed are Rally Car and the Stinger Deluxe. The press release stated 12 Deluxes, 6 Voyagers, and 2 Leaders for 2014, which is in line with the Hasbro toy leaks, which have proven to be accurate. We are definitely getting a Stinger. And if they cancel the line at only three waves, Hasbro has a problem. However, we have Leader Bee, which is a (bad) third Leader that was not on the list. So, I'd imagine (and hope) that there would be one more wave of sets like Junkheap, Wolf, and the Vehicon that need to be revealed at some of the conventions.
Hasbro said we've seen most of the Generations AOE figures. There's apparently still a lot more gimmick line stuff to be revealed. I think Stinger will probably be a red repaint of the new BB mold with a faceplate head.
I'll be honest. I hope the gimmick shit shelf and peg warms so bad that Hasbro never considers making it's general transforming toylike taking a back seat ever again.
Considering Stinger is literally a red Bumblebee with a different altmode, retooling the already pretty shellformery updated Bumblebee toy would be the logical decision.
Well where the heck did I get "14 Deluxes" from... (scratches head) I see that the Hasbro presentation said 12 (Toy Fair 2014 - Transformers Wiki), while the Press release said 10 (Transformers Generations 2014 Press Release - Transformers News - TFW2005)... but no 14 anywhere. (stupid me) At least the press release didn't say how many Leader toys there would be, so the Bumblebee as number 3 still fits with the database listing. I guess that means if it is 12 Deluxes, the only two we haven't seen then is the Rally Car and Stinger. And we don't get a Ratchet toy, which is odd since he's obviously in this movie. (I found it amusing that the Hasbro presentation also said that they were NOT going to have any previous Movie molds used for TF4, but we so far have Voyager Drift/Skyhammer, and Leader Bumblebee)
