Megatron has appeared in the trailer in the present day. Still no ideas about his relationship to AOE Galvy.

Was anything mentioned after the press embargo lifted?

I have a feeling Sir Megatron arrives from the past and just does away with galvy and the remaining KSi bots in a short clean up.

 

I think it's pretty obvious Megatron is Galvatron rebuilt and assuming his true name again.

 

So Megatron still doesn't have a spark and can cubeform?

 

technically we saw him, he's Megatron and we saw him in a couple of shots, they are the same guy at the end of the day.

 

they gotta explain what happened to galvatron regardless if he's indeed this 'new' megatron otherwise failure.

 

My educated guess? That ship in the sand dunes in Namibia looks like it may be the part of Lockdown's ship that detached and contained the Knights' Temenos. Maybe. I think Galvatron simply upgrades to his ancient Knight form when he accesses the Temenos and gets his wicked melee weapon and then perhaps repairs the ship enough to fly it to a location with less humans around.

Also notice how he's facing down Lennox in a desert? That could be in America, but it wouldn't surprise me if TRF was drawn to whatever the ship in Namibia may be (a part of Lockdown's ship or not), and they are confronted by Megatron there.

Maybe. Maybe not. I'm making educated guesses.

 

Seems good, only except the Temenos is stuck in China... maybe that's where he gets it, as early as AOE.

- Galvatron was just the name KSI came up with for their "creation." I'm pretty sure "Galvatron" never even said the name "Galvatron" in AOE.

- Megatron would probably rather be called by his "rightful name." If someone brought me back from the dead in a new body I'd be kind of pissed if everyone insisted I be called by something else just because my mind was in a different "vehicle."

It's really just a name thing. I'm not sure why this needs extensive explanation. Why would Megatron just say "Okay, the humans renamed me Galvatron, so I'll call myself Galvatron."

 

Ummmm, yea he did. The part when he activated by himself and took control of the other KSI drones. He was there sneering, "I AM GALVATRON"

 

Oh. This is a damn good theory.

 

Well, crap. That shows how well I paid attention.

 

Lots needs explaining here, maybe that's Joyce's roll solely to explain how galvatron has changed even more from his programming. The temenos thing also needs explaining as I doubt he gets his knight appearance from anywhere else. He also looks like he has lost bulk from the shot of him walking through the desert, compared to previous versions. Unless he's taller.

 

That's probably the best theory I've read yet. And while simple, id be ok with this as long as they use this to explain Galvatrons body change back to Megs. If Galves starts off like he was in AOE and is reformatted in a way you say here, that's all I need. I just don't want Megs to show up and they completely throw away the whole Galvatron thing from AOE.

Galvatron is Megatron, because I can see Galvatron parts on the New Megatron,I especially noticed this when he was with Lennox in the desert, because if you look at his arms and shoulders it looks like Galvatron's arms and shoulders.

I'm not a Megatron fan but i have missed him abit and yes they are similar hence why I think we will get a explanation and Megatron is defo Galvatron.
