Thanks guys. In regards to the blending, I usually use a minimal colour palette with my artwork, so the colours are pretty much the same, but enhanced the robot parts with highlights/shadows. Looks ok on my screen, but I know I don't have the best of screens.

 

I want many, many, many more.

Everytime I see this I think it's Princess Peach as a Transformer!

 

I like the piece as is. I like the interplay of the foreground character and the background. I think it adds to the abstract nature of the piece.  

 

Well Done. Reminds me of Penelope Pitstop from Wacky Racers.

 

It's also because you drew it and know where everything is. Your eyes are already focused on what is Arcee and what is background. Any chance of a glimpse without the background? Still I love the concept and design that I can make out. Good work!      

 

Thanks! Can't do more for now, busy as it gets with commissions and work. I usually don't draw Transformers much either, I've found a niche market as a retro artist in town. Although I've been a big Transformers fan since G1.
