I think I have a problem....
I picked up Brothers, some weird game about Japanese schoolgirls with swords (it was like a pound, don't judge me) and Halo Spartan Assault which is garbage.
Mitsurugi Kamui Hikae is actually pretty damn good. Great combos and some nice music. That said, the entire time playing it I felt extremely awkward, and I would never have friends around while playing it, unless that's your thing, I guess.

lol I have that game too. It's actually not garbage! Repetitive, but hey, it was cheap!
Right. I'm pretty much done with the sale.
Bless you, Gabe Newell.
Here's the damage:
The Witcher 2
Octodad: Dadliest Catch
Terraria (gift for a friend)
E.Y.E.: Divine Cybermancy
Skullgirls: Squigly DLC
Borderlands 2: Goty edition
Can't Stop Laughing Bundle (Castle Crashers+Battleblock Theater)
Super Amazing Wagon Adventure
Brothers - A Tale of Two Sons
Dishonored: The Brigmore Witches DLC
Wolfenstein: The New Order
Thought of getting Metro: Last Light, but decided to wait for the Redux version.
Also, Wolfenstein: TNO is right up my alley. Love it!
Picked up ten games myself, which were:
-Skyrim Legendery Edition
-Fallout: New Vegas Ultimate Edition
-Resident Evil 4 HD
-The Stanley Parable
-Double Dragon Neon
-Castle Crashers plus DLC.
-Pacman Championship Edition DX+ All You Can Eat Edition
Cost me about $55. Started with Resident Evil 4, game is still sooo good. Somehow the enemies are still smarter than most shooter enemies I encounter in games today.
I think I did pretty well:
Mass Effect 1+2---$8.74
Saints Row IV-----$9.99
Just Cause 2------$2.99
I also grabbed Gunpoint on sale the day before the big sale started for $2.49. Technically I paid nothing for any of these, since I sold off most of my Strange quality TF2 weapons for keys over the past month, which I then sold on the market for just over $2 each.
Far cry 3
Borderlands 2 dlc
Gta 4 complete
Battle block theater
Batman arkham origins + season pass
Left 4 dead
My damage from the Steam sale:
-Hotline Miami + soundtrack
-Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon
-Monaco: What's Yours Is Mine
-Metal Slug 3
-Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance
-Rayman Legends (plus another copy for a friend's birthday)
-Payday 2 + all the DLC that was on sale
-Max Payne 3
-Marlow Briggs and the Mask of Death
-also got Goat Simulator as a gift from a friend.
Overall pretty decent haul, even if the sales were kinda crappy this year overall. Spent probably just a bit over $65. And I must say that having played Marlow Briggs, this game is shockingly legit for the $1 I paid for it. Buy that game next time around people. Actually, I've played a bit of everything I got so far, and I think I did really good on everything.
Im glad its over, but now we have the winter sale to look forward to.
I ended up not buying any games. I kept waiting and waiting in the hopes that the games I wanted would be just a little cheaper, but nope. Even when they were on flash or community choice sale, I was like, "Well, maybe they'll put it 50% off later". Oh well. They'll probably be 80% off during the winter sale.
Finally sitting down to tally up the haul. Haven't bought anything on Steam since the Holiday sale back, so I went into this with a few rules:
1. Only buy it if it was on my wishlist
2. Don't pay more than $9.99 for something AAA
3. Don't pay more than $4.99 for DLC or an indie (unless if said item was already $4.99, then pay only if its less).
Going by these rules, I grabbed only stuff that was on flashes/dailies/votes until the last day, then grabbed ~$20 more extra stuff that fit the above criteria on the last day.

Very satisfied with this sale, cut my wishlist in half
Oh my god I knew I forgot something. Fuck, fuck, fuck.
Anyone have experienced persistent Assassin's Creed: Revelation crashes on PC? I beaten the game today but crashes really annoy me during my playthough.
I bought Shadowrun Returns and Rocksmith 2014 for $35 , only to later discover that my "RealTone" cable is fucked and a replacement will basically cost me as much as the game did.
Strange. Game always ran flawlessly for me. Try verifying it or reinstalling.
But...your poor backlog
Sucks to hear that.
