Got the Bioshock 3 pack for $10 today. Also got myself a TF2 key with what I made off selling trading cards.

So how do I increase my level? I've voted on every community choice thing, but I'm only level 1, so even when my team wins, I'm still not eligible to win any free games. Is there an easy way to increase my level without spending money on virtual trading cards or whatever?

You craft badges using trading cards. That is it, unless I'm missing something and am dumb.

I like to voting right now. It open world comedy featuring borderlands 2, blood dragon, goat sim and saints row 4 vs indie rouge like crafting with a bunch of games I never heard of. It should be renamed steam best sellers vs unknown games. Or pick this one!

Still own everything I'd want from the sale for Day 9, but the selection of games and the sales applied on those games is pretty nice. Dat Transistor doh. Couldn't it have been, like, 50% off?

It's still too new. I don't mind snagging it for 15, decent discount for something I was gonna buy anyway.

You have a wider selection than a Linux user. :D

I bought Transistor and have been playing it for the past ninety minutes. This game is fully worth the money. Like they could do a 25% price hike and it'd still be a good deal.

I picked up Child of Light the other day and think it's well worth it above the regular price. I highly recommend some of you buy it when it goes back on sale.

I almost bought that game a few weeks ago until I noticed that it already had a ton of expensive DLC available. Nope. Not going to support that BS. Even on sale all but one of the DLC packs are still over a dollar each. :(  It's a shame too, the game looks like something I would like to play.

You realize that most of the DLCs are pretty much cosmetics and the little extra does nothing to hinder the game if you don't get it.

It was all out on day 1 though. I just can't really bite on a download-only title that is released as incomplete. It is however added to my wishlist, in case I have any well-off and generous friends who want to treat me.

This is Ubisoft we're talking about. They have no shame in trying to squeeze as much as they can out of a game. :p

BTW, Child of Light is no longer a "Early Access" title.

So, excuse my ignorance as I got this PC just one day after the Summer Sale of last year, and I'm not sure if the same rules apply as they did in the Autumn and Holiday sales, but does the sale end on the 29th (as in today) at noon EST, or tomorrow at noon EST? It says it lasts until the 30th, but I noticed a friend of mine started buying games that weren't in the daily or flash sale.
