We have not seen Starscream betray Megatron yet. He only fails Megatron so many time. Do you think he will betray Megatron in the third movie and try to become the next leader. Also do you think Starscream will die in the third movie?
He kinda betrayed him before the movies. He just wanted to find the Allspark, but the others wanted to find Megatron.
Don't know anything about Starscream betraying Megatron, but it wouldn't surprise me if Starscream ends up getting killed off alongside the other Decepticons featured in TF3.
I gurantee he'll backstab Megatron declares he's dead and new leader. Then Megatron gets up and litterally stabs Starscream in the back and dies. So i'l say it'll be like the 86 Transformers movie where he betrays and then 5 minutes later dies.
I'd think the perfect time would be Megatron getting trashed by Jet Prime. Megatron couldn't do anything, Starscream had all the power. Yet that would require jamming more into an already disappointing scene. Still, if not then, when?
Something I was REALLY hoping Bay would've done in TF2 was have Prime beat the hell out of Megatron, within an inch of his life, and then have Starscream finish him off. It's not that I don't like Megatron, but if you use the same villain over and over and over (cough, Lex Luthor, cough) the general audience is going to get tired of it. So I really hope there's a scene in TF3 where Megatron's back is against the wall, and he's crying out for help from Starscream, and he doesn't help.
You know what? I'd rather see something like ^^this. Let Starscream's 'betrayal' be more of an assist. The first two movies show nothing of him being the sort to usurp Megatron, so I'd prefer this Starscream fire the final shots into a dying Megs, then call a retreat to regain strength. When they did nothing with Megs calling for him during TF2, I realized he just isn't the same "on the comeup" Starscream.
I think all the bots will probably die. Bay's stated this one will be the last - and it will be difficult to continue the story from the ending. Seriously, they are talking Transformers film reboot already.
Well he claimed Megatrons position during his death in ROTF, and clearly didn't want Megs back we'll see what the eff happens in ROTF, I expect some good fights.
Well, to be fair. If he'd killed Megatron in Egypt, with JetPrime, and Fallen both duking it out nearby, making his presence noted would likely only lead to him having his face torn apart too. No point taking Megs down then because Screamer would be next up, a hasty retreat and wait for a better opportunity to arise.
I think Starscream's betrayal should come in form of joining up with Shockwave, while of course planning on screwing him over as well.
Yea I've got a weird feeling that Starscream is going to get killed by Prime or Bumblebee before he can put a dagger in Megatron's back.
