Hands down, Star Wars has some of the coolest vehicles ever. I kust can't get over the sorta-human character robot modes. I just wish this line turned into bad-ass robots, not old-man Emperors.

I hope they make a really big Abrams tank that transforms into a G-1esque Megatron.

Since the 1st wave, the quality of SWTF have increased quite a bit, especially with the excellent Millineum Falcon set. If the quality continues to go up, I'm all for extending this line. 

 

The figures haven't all been fantastic in the line (pregnant Fetts, anyone), but I've eally enjoyed them so far, and am looking forward to getting a Falcon soon. There are still a lot of possibilities left in the line- so many fantastic and unique ships. Old Ben (Alec Guinness) into sandspeeder, Ice Gear Wedge to Snowspeeder, ah...it's Star Wars, so as long as the line continues, we'll be assured of getting every obscure character and ship.

Well this is... news. Not really good news. But news nonetheless. Let's hope next year they figure out how to give value for the consumer.

 

Here's hoping this will give them time to hire new engineers so the toys don't absolutely suck anymore.

For the line to redeem itself to me, it would have to do the following:

Continue with the improvements to quality and design.
Ditch the character heads.
Give me a Moldy Crow/Kyle Katarn figure.

That is all.

 

This line is simply awful. It needs to die. Soon.

 

Regardless of whether you like the designs or not, when it comes to product size= money, and if you add in complexity, the SWTFs for $15 are about as much bang for your buck-- maybe slightly more, even-- as Cybertron Menasor for $25.

 

I don't understand that logic.

Just because you and some others don't like SWTF, it doesn't mean that there aren't others who like the line and wish it continues.

You think it's awful, then don't buy the products, as I'm sure you don't.

But it does not need to die, because there is definitely a market for it.

Yeah, I'd hope they'd do most of that stuff before dipping into the EU stuff that Kickback brought up the last time this was mentioned. Although I wouldn't mind seeing more Jedi or Rebels, because looking at my shelf... the good guys are really outnumbered...

Evil Empire = Emperor Palpatine, Darth Vader, Arc Clone Trooper, General Grevious, Darth Maul, Jango & Boba Fett.

Rebel Alliance/Jedi Knights = Obi-Wan Kenobi, Luke Skywalker & Anakin Skywalker. (Haven't got Han and Chewy yet as they haven't shown up in my neck of the woods, but that still wouldn't even things up at all.)

Character wise I'd like to see: Lando Calrision, Padme Amidala (from episode II... the white outfit), Leia Organa, Mace Windu (I'd even except another Jedi Starfighter remold here), Yoda, Qui-Gon Jin & Storm, Snow and other types of Troopers. Oh, and green squidy Jedi (forget his name though) and maybe that blue Jedi chick. Lastly I'd like another Luke (in his black outfit).

The only characters I'd really like to see EU are Dash Rendar, Prince Xisor and Mara Jade.

i don't care if they continue a line like this; but i better damn well not hear about alts ending or that classics won't be continued.
