Anyone having issues with the Force FX Elite Darth Vader saber? This is my 2nd one, and they both have the same blade issues. Flickering on and off, shutting off by itself, the flashes not flashing. I assume it all has to do with the connection of the blade to the hilt, but I am certainly doing everything right. Was looking for some advice. I know the Kylo one had this issue too.

Thanks. Thinking about my next trip to Disneyland. Want to get one of the newer lightsaber and mix and match the parts from my other 2 to make more unique lightsabers. Was hoping they sold extra parts because I wanted just one sleeve from the newer styles.
I had gone with my buddy, kids and wife and always watched them build their own sabers, never had an interest in building my own until I saw the new power and control parts. At some point this year I will be making a trip down to Disneyland. And yes you are right, mixing the old parts with the new ones will make some pretty cool builds. There is a Facebook group called Galaxy's Edge Trading Post. Members there sell lots of GE stuff including saber parts for reasonable prices.

Not sure how popular the cheaper saber forge items are but I can reveal that the 1699 character inspired sabers will be getting two new ones this year: Anakin Skywalker and Darth maul
Lots of saber and GE boards speculate that this years surprise GE May 4th offering will be Yoda. Hope it's true but others are saying it could be the announced Caleb or an updated Cal Kestis from Jedi Survivor, perhaps with the crossguard. We'll see.

this set is LE, edition size is 7500, which will be split between parks and shopDisney. It is not double bladed Edit - a lot of folks are saying that there appears to be an activation switch on the opposite end of the Cal saber and whoever is answering from the shopDisney Twitter account appears to be misinformed.
My Limited Run Games LE Jedi Survivor set was just delivered. Cal hilt is solid, good sound. Wish it had a color changing blade.... like the Galaxy's Edge set coming out on Thursday was just announced to have by the Disney Parks blog a little while ago.
I haven't checked in a few days but the LRG version was going 2x over retail. People were having FOMO. I do like it and the heft and weight it has, the sound is great but they really should have made it color changing if it was an option. But it's LE and numbered and has the exclusive, game accurate crate too. I think I will try for tomorrows Cal release as the color changing blade looks great, we have the Ahsoka Clone Wars that do this and its a cool feature. But Cal should also get a general non-LE release in the parks too so thats an option. Oh and all the stir at Disneyland last night, for the first Star Wars night, is that Yoda is getting released tomorrow. I already preordered the Hasbor BS version as those are always superior to the GE releases.
Nice! I'll have to try and remember to see if I can snag a Cal general one if it does do some color changing. I have some regret never picking up the Ahsoka Clone Wars ones since I love the color changing effects. Yeah, I find it weird that the Black Series seem to be better than the GE Lightsabers lately. I got the BS Obi Wan over the GE one since the blade is so much smoother igniting than the GE release. Going to guess because they haven't improved the GE blades due to their complexity. Edit: Yikes, the FOMO is strong. I remember those LRG bundles sitting till they closed. Double Edit: Hmm, Ahsoka's Clone Wars hilts are up on Shop Disney... Dang them. LOL
