Ok, so it’s you and the homeless guy outside of Jimmy John’s that are now tied for craziest bullshit spoken or typed in the last 3 months.
     Congratulations.

Starwars changed so many things ,toys, movies, culture it is a phenomenon and merchandisers know an actual sequel will sell like hotcakes . That being said I still prefer the robots I will buy a few starwars items but ultimately they will probably go to the wee ones

Blame Hasbro putting out too damn many Bumblebees throughout the movie/Prime lines. It took like one wave into Prime before we had our first batch of Stealth Mode style repaints.

Those rot on shelves, and stores in turn get gun shy loading up on late waves.

That was a pretty awesome retort dude. +5 for that

Anyone who does not get WHY star wars would have more product in every store right now vs TF that is a shrinking brand until a new movie comes out, does not get a whole mess of stuff im not even going to bother typing.

Star Wars is the BIG thing right now, with anticipation of episode 7 in just a few months. It's older than Transformers, and probably has a larger fan base.
I know I'm stoked for it.

Transformers is at best a well fed tiger-shark. Star War is a freaking Great White or even a Megalodon.

I really do need to find the old picture I took of 9-10 pegs of Transformers toys with 4-5 different versions of Bumblebee hanging off them.

    EDIT: Found it.

I know I for one have not even the tiniest drop of interest for this new movie. I'm sticking with the 'bots.

Star Wars is bigger than Transformers. Say it with me, now. Star Wars is bigger than Transformers. Accept it.

Star Wars was far more transformative on culture than TF ever was, and has been away for a decade; longer if you realize the old SW fans weren't satisfied with the prequels. This movie will be gonzo.

Star Wars is bigger than TF. It's not that TF did anything wrong, so stop blaming X for ruining the franchise. Star Wars had the prequels for heaven's sake; TF hardly has the market cornered on creative missteps (for those that insist on labeling the movieverse or various fictions that way). SW was always bigger. It's the biggest, most robust, most mainstream of all the nerdoms.

Star Wars is just bigger than Transformers. In your heart of hearts, you know it's true.

    And they sell more toys.

THANK YOU! I agree 100% with this. There's no science in Star Wars, it's all fantasy. Star Wars is greatly overrated.

Millions of fans across the world would disagree with you, and say the same about TF movies made by Bay.

    Yep.

I'm a Transformers fan obviously, but if there was a day where you had a new Transformers movie and a new Star Wars movie out the same day, I wouldn't even need a tenth of a second to decide and say, "Let's go see Star Wars."

On the way to Sacramento for an anime convention I stopped by a Walmart in the middle of the way (Dixon, CA) to check out the toy aisle. NO Transformers for sale at all :(  That was a bit weird!
