So I finally decided to ask the dude who is an action figure collector that works at TRU today about the Black 6 inch dudes and he said they never even got their cases in for Force Friday. They still have an order of 5 boxes of the 6inch stuff that they keep being told will be arriving any day now. He told me to call them at 10am tomorrow to see if they came in since they are getting a truck in that is supposedly going to have TFA stuff on it to see if the 6inchers came in. All I want are like 2 Storm Troopers.
today was the first day since force friday that i've seen a black series kylo ren. there were two of them at my local target. it seems that some of the stores in my area have been getting some restocks, but they don't last very long at all.. you can usually see the remnants of them at night. wow.. i regret not picking that up.
What do you guys think of: - Force Awakens 3.75 Black Series - Snaptite Force Awakens kits Are they recommended? I'm trying to plan out my Star Wars purchases before the I've comes out.
found Black series cody at walgreens, they had leia but the face was terrible. waiting from figuarts Maul to ship from HLJ.
Snap kits got good reviews but as far as 3.75BS they seem overpriced to me. Then again I've felt that way about nearly all 3.75BS figures since Black Series started.
10/1 is Thursday everywhere. So you'd be setting an alarm for 3AM EST Thursday. (Well... I do 2:55 to get ready.)
I just ordered Sphero BB-8. There was a video someone made that showcased it really well. It had a guy with a beard and I think BB-8 encountered a bulldog/pug wearing a Vader outfit on the street or something. I wanted to show that to my wife. Anyone have the link? Been searching all day and can't find it. It was so well made, it was like a commercial.
I might be in the wrong place for someone to talk me out of the rabbit hole....Got a BS FO Stormtrooper the other day(still haven't decided if i'm going to open it or trade it off..).The helmet design was odd looking in the first images.Staring at the toy for a couple days,i'm starting to dig the design and the armor still has that classic style to it.Can't wait to see them in action. My problem:I don't do good with army builders.I have a weakness for doing it and can't stop, its a sickness i tell you.I army build gijoes(50+ and growing Viper army).so army building is bad news for me,could you imagine a shelf of these stormtroopers. That would be a hell of a sight.
Here's my review of the new PAK Darth Maul. Overall it's still a decent figure, but the thin waist and head sculpts make it my least favourite out of the line so far. Hope you can check out the review! Play Arts Kai Star Wars Variant Darth Maul - YouTube And here are some pics:

lol, they definitely are unique. Not really my thing but I can appreciate the consistent style they have going. It's kinda cool. They remind me of Metal Gear 4 characters.
play arts kai are great when they aren't trying to reinvent the design... they metal gear solid v figures are soooooo good and accurate but I just can't stand the Star Wars marvel and dc figures and their weird looks, every once I'm a while one looks too but I pass on most
LOL, I guess the PAKs are an acquired taste. I collect the 1/6th scale figures for movie accuracy, and leave it to PAK and Tamashii Nations to give me the variant styles for something a little different in the Star Wars collection.
PAKs are like SICs, or Bandai's Movie Realization line (or any stylistic redesign or anything) no doubt and amazing amount of work and craft put into them, but if you don't like the style, you won't like the figure.
