Hmm. This entire time I’ve had my C-1 that I built at droid depot, it never occurred to me that the legs had removable panels like in the R series. I thought the legs would be too small. I guess it pays to try things.

So my next Disneyland trip has been cancelled due to no babysitter for my dog. But we are going to reschedule till next year(if I'm still around).

But was thinking, how much do you think a bill would be for both a droid depot Droid and a Savi's Lightsaber?

I think the Saber is 249.99 and the droid is like 119.99. But prices could have went up some since last I saw. Then if you want accessories and personality component chips for droid or different kyber crystals...you could easily spend over 500.

thought the prices were the same in both parks. because the Build A droid costs the same as the premade r2, and bb8, that you can still get off the shopdisney store app...and it's listed at 119.99. And the saber build was the same as the full legacy kit sabers with blades...which are 249.99.

I don’t know what the current prices are, but I do believe the build a droid at Disneyland was less expensive than the same experience at Hollywood Studios. If I remember correctly they both started at $100, then HS bumped up the price to $120.
Either way, I would recommend buying the backpack carrier at the depot. I found it easier than having to carry around the big cardboard box. They offer a bundle set a that includes the droid, the backpack, and a personality chip. It doesn’t save you any money, but it is convenient if you are planning to buy all three anyway.
And if you don’t t mind spending $5 to load them up initially, I usually buy some galaxy’s edge gift cards to buy things with (you can get them in the droid depot too) before I go shopping in the park. It makes for an additional (and relatively inexpensive) bonus souvenir (or many depending on how many you get). You have to put at least $100 initially on the gift card, but if you’re planning on spending that much anyway, it’s not a bad deal.

edit: I checked the prices on each site, DL is cheaper than HS.

Haslab Star Wars: The Vintage Collection Mos Eisley Cantina Update - Week 2

As of the end of week 2 of the campaign (considered Thursday 11:59PM EDT), the Cantina stood at 5288 backers, now 5602 as of the time of this post. In the second week, it has gained 626 backers, averaging 90 backers per day. This is similar to the Ghost's performance in week 2 with a 60 backer difference between them in that week. The difference in the total backer count is a result of the relative underperformance of the Cantina in week 1 - the first and last weeks usually define a campaign.

The Cantina as been gaining steam on Giant-Man which had roughly half as many week 2 backers or 293 fewer.

Banthaskull posted an article highlighting the need for Hasbro to address the difficulty in acquiring certain Cantina patrons. Making expensive characters available again might help to bring more people on board since it could help to decrease the financial burden of populating the Cantina. Whether it should be straight reissues or new figures is up for debate depending on the character and quality of the latest offering.

i think reissuing cantina aliens would boost the funding, but they seem to be in a catch-22 situation, not wanting to get stuck filling slots with cantina denizens if it doesn't fund but at the same time wanting to entice people they will be able to populate it with upcoming figures...

that being said, I don't think missing the three tiers will end up being that big of an issue as Hasbro will no doubt just go ahead and make those figures anyway at some point since the work has already gone into them (sort of like Rancor Luke tooling plans eventually being used for other figures)

We've had multiple Greedos, 4 arm guy and even a wolfman before. I am not backing it but the only figures I want are the sisters since they are new.

I know they say these figures are on exclusive cards so that tells me they are coming later on different cards.

Was thinking. My project, maybe I don't need a word meaning Galaxy that starts with A. With the character I am using, maybe a different word that starts with A will work better with this character.

Don't ask what my project is. Some may not like it and it may break board rules.

No. Let's just say it's a word someone encouraged an iconic character to use.

This thread welcomes ALL Star Wars toys! It's mostly 3.75/6 inch figures and stuff...but it's all fair game.
