ROTJ 40th anniversary pulse exclusive is retro-painted in a simpler style like the 1983 original

comes with his vintage homage baton too

first black series Ackbar is normal realistic deco

note badge, belt and mottled skin color vs simplified color scheme and googly eyes

Their shipping to the US is supposedly £5 as well, which is not crazy but is a little dubious.

In-box pics have surfaced of General Merrick’s X-Wing! Really hope I can find this one.

Interesting that the Astromech is called R2-R9 instead of R2-SHW, though the droid doesn’t look like the one we see on-screen.

just jumping in real quick to say that if you are not watching Andor, you should be. Not just great Star Wars but a great show period

Wonder why they went with a different Astromech.

This might sound like a dumb question, but is the new RotJ Luke coming out just single jointed elbows and knees? I had preordered him, but I just noticed those aren't double jointed despite the $25 asking price. At least, they're not in the images on Pulse.

I've been trying SO HARD to get into it. I'm on Episode 4 now and I've heard this is about when it gets good, so I'm not giving up yet. But so far I've had to watch in 15 minute intervals as I keep falling asleep, having to go back and rewatch, etc.

I get that it is a slow burn but its about character building and establishing high stakes and the payoff has been absolutely worth it. The season on the whole has been great but this weeks episode was just outstanding.
Its bittersweet because it shows that with solid writing and a plan, just how great SW can still be.

Yeah, 1-3 are SLOW, but the build up DOES pay off, and 5+ steadily deliver each week.

Also--I'm not really interested in the micro galaxy stuff, but I WILL pick up a Blue Leader X-wing if I find one.

Just chiming in that the build on Andor starts slow, but pays out pretty quickly afterwards if you can stick with it.

Also, I think it's one of the prettiest Star Wars shows we're ever going to get. Those sets and locations are top-notch.

On a toy note, I just got the comic Leia and archive Boushh after shipping my POL from BBTS. Nice figures, good likeness. Slowly rounding out my set for Jabbas palace. :D

So the Starkiller base did not work for Vader.

It was fine width wise, but not depth.

Now I'm leaning towards the Black Series Centerpiece:

    Along with two Stormtroopers:

I want to recreate this art print:

    Minus the Rebel Fleet Trooper.

I also feel four Stormtroopers would be a bit much.

    Edit -

I'll have to wait for payday (Wednesday).

The first two images are from the Fwoosh Centerpiece review.

There are two monologues in the latest episode that make the journey to get there worth the wait. I mean, I was already enjoying it immensely, but that was some top tier shit.

I didn't find episodes 1-3 slow at all. The world building and actually having a show filled with competent characters was a breath of fresh air that kept me invested. I also watch in 3 episode blocks. If I had to watch one episode per week then I may well have come to a very different conclusion.

Episodes 1-3 were released simultaneously so everyone was able to binge them. I’m with you, I didn’t think they were slow at all.

I just found this thread, is everything SW-related up for discussion here? I collect TVC and Micro Galaxy Squadron. Been posting over on Rebel Scum for the past year but I just can’t deal with the childish arguments and bullshit anymore. We’ve got a good crowd over here at TFW so it would be great if I could chat SW with my peeps here.

Strangely, they didn't just give him the wrong name, they actually used R2-R9's paint scheme with the red body and red dome (he's the red astromech unit on the Naboo Royal Starship who gets blown away before R2-D2 is left behind to save the day, he came with the Hasbro Naboo Royal Starship toy). I wonder if someone at Lucasfilm misidentified the character to them and then fed them the source images for that droid and they made it based on what they were given.

I don't know the exact rules, but I love seeing photos of stuff. Especially stuff I pass on buying since I'm trying to be good and not buy everything.
I looked up the droid and yeah it puzzled me why they used one from Episode 1 that clearly doesn't survive to pre Episode 4. Unless..... R9 does!!!

I’ve been pretty surprised at how many mistakes Jazwares have made already with MGS. It’s weird.

Can you elaborate? I haven't notice any others, but I've only seen wave 1 and the Target exclusive wave 2 larger ships so far.
