Target already sold out of Retro Boba (Morak) by the time I tried to check out. Damn, all except Armorer sold out on Target. That would have been the best deal if they deliver. Oh well.
I preordered the Boba at Amazon but that’s it so far. I recently got the urge to collected a carded version of the original 12 Kenner figures and while VC or Retro would do the trick for me I struggle to get past that big ass retro sticker on the front of the card. It just ruins the intent.
It's my understanding that it can be heated gently and peeled if you don't like it. Just an option if those are easier/cheaper to find for you. Too bad they only did half of the 12.
Good to know. I’ll try that out later today on a Retro Mando figure. I just want to level up my display with a vintage look without the need to buy true vintage carded figures.

No problem at all! I have to decide if I'm going to do the same myself. I've also got a couple I can test techniques on. It's awful placement of the sticker. Could have just thrown it on the back or done something more discrete in my opinion as an armchair-toy-manufacturer.
Same. Put this on the back and respect the intent of the release and design. Lousy decision on Hasbro’s part.
I've felt they just make the top corner of the card have the orange RETRO mark. Leave the photo uncovered. Pretty sure it is on the front to help keep people from passing these as actual vintage figures. Although it can still happen if the person is able to get the Retro sticker off. All this is depending on the buyer not being able too see the back since that is totally new.
Phooey. The figure i pre-ordered from GameStop has suffered a delay and back order till November. Oh well, it can't be helped.
Might be a long shot, but did anyone wind up with an extra of that armored Obi-Wan that was a....Target (I think) exclusive?
Saw these guys at my local Target today. Not sure if they have been sighted before but I thought they were pretty cool.
If they wanted to prevent playing off real retro they could have printed the retro splash directly on the card. Would have been better if it was an easily removable sticker and maybe even just place it on the bubble.
