so true retro (kenner style) vintage or just vintage (modern) collection repaint/remolds? That is the question I suppose...

a Threepio could just be the same figure except molded in bright yellow plastic...the R2 would end up looking sorta like the Marvel Comics version with certain panels colored...

and of course Boba Fett would be another repaint...they could probably get away with doing A-Wing pilot too...maybe somehow kitbash some parts together with a new head to create some of the human cast...

then again, if they are true retro kenner-style (reproduced from the original figures or a brand new sculpt like the Mandalorian ones) that could be kinda interesting because then you know people would be clamoring for Vlix and some of the other super-rare figures to be done...

I had to stop myself from buying two TVC Off-world Jawas from Walmart today. In my mind, I wanted to start building up an army of them to disassemble my Haslab Razorcrest, but that's the thing with Star Wars toys - it's all about recreating that one scene from that one time, and the reality is that I'd probably set it up once, take a picture, and then never do it again. At $13 a head, army-bulding gets a little expensive for one thing, but also gets excessive in the amount of plastic that I'm sitting on afterwards is annoying.

...now if Pulse ever do an Army-Builder pack of them, well that might be a horse of a different colour.

Having the deluxe this wouldn't really be something I'd want. Though if you're collecting those POTF carded figures I can see this being a draw. It's like the retro-carded Marvel Legends. Even though a good chunk of those characters have seen multiple releases people who missed out want them and people specifically collecting them for the retro throwback and keeping them sealed are going to want them.

Good rationale to pick up that VC Rey figure.

It seems that the correct terminology is now, "Dat egg!" or something like that.

As much as I do prefer the orange cards, I still do have nostalgia for the green card since I think more figures came out on that?

I'm glad I got a pristine PotF2 Luke from Hasbro Pulse. It looks great and I'll try to get any of these homage cards.
