Everyone knew it was going to be the Rancor.

Hmm. Rancor seemed pretty obvious given the previous hints. Good news for me since I'm not interested so money saved. Now I only need to worry about the Transformers and Marvel HasLab projects.

 

I was hoping for a large diorama/playset. Not much versatility in a Rancor. You display him with Luke and maybe a Rancor Keeper and a Gamorean Guard? A Black Series Jabba's Palace or Cantina playset, could be used to a rehouse a large amount of figures across various films/tv shows.

It'd be cool if they included Oola as a reward tier. Not sure if we'd get her otherwise.

 

Just one more week till those Walmart Exclusives are revealed or less than a week till they are leaked. I dread those Exclusives. Last year's Clone wars exclusives were a pain to find.

Honestly, if they did a $150 Haslab Rancor on its onesie, I'd be more interested than pushing that $300-400 price point.

I'm not sure where I'd actually put a Black Series Rancor (I still don't have a place for the incoming Razor Crest), but I don't need all of the extra, personally.

 

Sure, I'll throw Snake Eyes, Bumblebee and Doc Ock in there. How's that for imagination?

 

That’s what I used to do when I was a kid! Snake Eyes or Boba Fett always won in the end.  

 

Does anyone know how tall an actual 1/12 Rancor would be?

Oh good one! Oola, Luke, Malakili, a Gamorrean Guard, or maybe a half eaten one?, the diorama. Getting closer to $350 if they include $100 worth of figures, and diorama stuff.

Visited a Disney store and they had some Galaxy’s Edge stuff on sale! Picked up a set of color-changing droids, the Chopper included is easily the best 3.75 figure of the character.

Rancor = pass and should not be a Haslabs project, now an AT-AT or AT-ST or any of the original and clone wars ships for either BS or TVC, would of been a better choice.

 

That doesn't seem that large at all, hope it comes packed then.

A BS AT-ST is even simpler than a Rancor and might get made one day in the main line and an AT-AT would be 6' tall to scale lol.

 

You know… why doesn’t Hasbro make smaller vehicles like the Jedi Starfighters at the 4” scale? Sell them with a figure for $30. Seems like an idea to me.
