I don't necessarily disagree with you at all for how much it should've been sold for... Especially shouldn't have included the undersized guard statues... But at an MSRP of 16000 yen, you're really not going to find anybody selling the whole package as low as you want. I wish you luck finding somebody wanting to part with just Palps and maybe the chair though, that might get closer to there.

Well, the one saving grace to that is that if they're done like the Rebels wave then they'll be Fan Channel only so they won't clog up retail space. That said, while Jyn and Cassian can still be found in discount stores and even Krennic to a lesser extent... Chirrut Imwe and Baze Malbus were notoriously difficult to get hold of for most. Also, maybe they'll pull a Zeb with the Rebels line and give us Saw and Bodi since we never got either of them for the film.

 

I can only see them doing a new Cassian figure to promote his upcoming Disney+ series when it comes out.

 

I don't know why it bothers me they're not just calling them McQuarrie designs. At least put his name on them somewhere.

You know I was just thinking how cool it would be if Hasbro would do all the McQuarrie concepts in the Black Series. I remember way back in the early to mid-2000's they released a bunch of them in one of the 3.75" lines and I'd love to see them do it for Black Series. I know there was a Walgreens exclusive Boba Fett that was based on the McQuarrie design but it'd be cool to get a re-issue of that with the alternate helmet design. Maybe someday.

I always liked that subtle continuity bit. With how few real means of expression Jedi have as Padawans, like having to keep your hair in a short braid, it seems natural the first thing they’d want to do as an independent is grow out their hair now that they can. It’s like how the basic rank and file clones would dye their hair and get tattoos. Little ways to express oneself while conforming to regulation.

 

Yes. The prequels are full of fun small continuity like that.
