Haslab should have a 10% NRD and either have a payment plan or charge the rest when the item ships. Its kind of bullshit to pay all this money for something and then have to wait a year for the release. Also the time of year is terrible. It's like a month before Xmas.

 

AND in the middle of a health pandemic in the worst financial downturn in decades. I count myself very lucky that I continue to work and am able to do so from home during all of this but you would think they would take these things into account before dropping this.

Found Armorer and Incinerator Trooper this morning at Walmart, all the rest of the wave was out with the exception of Cad Bane which was fine since I found him at Best Buy weeks ago

 

That’s fair. I guess I was thinking that timing then. In February we typically learn of several releases for the rest of the year. Based on my wish list I don’t see a whole lot coming out next year to entice me outside of Star Wars but Hasbro always hooks me one way or another.

 

My local wally world is showing 6+ on brickseek so hopefully, tonight I can get an Incinerator and possibly Cad or the Armorer.

In other news, I found a local ebay seller who has Wave 27 for 2x the price as of yesterday so hopefully Walmart isn't lagging behind amd this guy bought them already.

 

Been checking the Canadian Brickseek for those Walmart Exclusive Clone Wars figures. Everytime there is like a full case or 3 of any of those exclusives, they show that they all sell out in less than one hour, and I don't mean like 18 to 16 to 15 to 10 to 8 to 4 to 2 to 0, I mean like 12 to 0. I'd imagine those are scalpers. I remember seeing someone at a swap meet selling another Walmart exclusive for double and a half and he had like 20 copies of that exclusive.

As for the new wave, all I need is the Incinerator Trooper. Already got the rest from Pulse.

 

Glad I've been avoiding Mandalorian toys, because that Beskar Mando + Baby Yoda + Jetpack + Ice Cream Maker set is absolutely perfect.

 

Haslab Crest has two new stretch goals. It's a shame they probably won't be reached.

Chances are we'll be seeing the set everywhere in December but figured I'd let everyone know that there's another option.

 

So I've done the completist thing and gotten the Figuarts Bessie Mando......and it's exactly what I experienced with the first version, looks nice(r) but too fiddly by half and can't seem to get out of its own way.

The detail is crisper in a few areas - like the jetpack - but honestly I'm feeling the Black Series more just for its solidity and the fact it looks and feels fantastic for a £20 figure.

 

I know brickseek isn't always accurate but if Walmart.com shows the 6inch ast in stock, is that pretty accurate?

 

interesting but they are probably too late unless a huge number come in at crunch time

I guess when they reveal what they are people might triple-splurge

(about 55 more preorders clears the 13K threshold...I'd imagine the next two are also 1000 increments as I don't think they should expect a groundswell of another 5-10K coming in the last week)
