Eh, I wouldn't fret getting more. "Cardinal" is his name after all, not a type of trooper, so you really only need one.
This has been a struggle for Hasbro. I think the BS X-Wing Luke head sculpt was good but was killed by being entirely painted in flesh tone paint. It makes the figure look like Luke is wearing mascara. Yavin Luke looks OK but not perfect. I actually happen to like the Walmart exclusive Jedi Luke head. It looks WAY better once you remove the blush from the cheeks. The rest are all way off the mark.
Yeah, you got the point on the child...its $20 in terms of my currency...$20 for that small figure. I will need to wait for it to be on a discount say, 20% off before I buy it. With regards to that Yoda, I actually like it but the set (Luke and Yoda) costs like USD$55 in my country...arghhh...for that cash I can get 2 delxue Transformers which I did when I picked up 2 Allicons... Oh yeah, X-Wing Luke...totally forgot about that one! The sculpt on that figure was good - the best but I need to check out the Luke that Shin mentioned...it may actually dethrone the X-Wing Luke. For me, my fave is the SHFiguarts ROTJ Luke...the first version as the reissues have er, metallic golden hair. I do like the Jedi Knight Luke but yeah, the blush on the cheeks is abit much...
I'll keep an eye out for another Mountain Trooper. I saw one on Saturday so I'll see if he's still there.
The Credit Collection Heavy Mandalorian is back up for pre-order: https://www.bestbuy.com/site/star-w...-infantry-mandalorian/6425867.p?skuId=6425867
I didn't recall the original release of the Heavy at Bestbuy to go so quickly...smaller run or fewer preorders this time? and of course the second I posted, it went back up! Got one so that just leaves Cara...
that Yoda seems to be smaller than the individual release too... was looking at the carded one and the one in the 2-pack and the 2-pack one looks like it has a smaller body (or is packaged sitting?)
Hi everyone! I'm selling a Disney Legacy saber if anyone needs: - Asaajj Ventress (1) (no blades) ... shipped in US for $175. PM me with interest! gbm
Picked these up today. Was told that orders for any Star Wars Black Series figure at EB Games are a bit screwy. Apparently lots of preorders went up on June 4th (Made a big order before closing). But any orders after June 5th were shorted and cancelled.
Got my 2nd vintage BS figure today, Snowspeeder Luke. Threw away the card since it wasn’t dual layered. Mainly wanted it for the figure itself and hadn’t come across the new BS boxed one yet. Overall, good, the butterfly hinges might give you more range here than on Dagobah Luke. Upper body articulation is good, diaphragm could use more range. Right elbrow when bent and swiveled looks weird from the bottom like it’s attached wrong(yet isn’t), due to the way the upper arm is sculpted(elbow socket is longer towards the back and sticks out when the elbrow is bent). The lower body is where articulation takes a hit. This is due to the PVC short coattail and the rubber hose that plugs into the upper left leg. Both of these parts get in the way. You can pull up the PVC straps to get the legs to lift up more, the right hip can move up a lot more than the left. Hip articulation aside from the hose/coattail hindrance is better than previous Black Series figures prior to this and Dagobah Luke). The knees bend just a bit more than 90 degrees. The knees tend to get loose at the swivel socket where they plug into the upper legs, that’s a drawback on these joints that I’ve experienced before on older 3.75” Star Wars figures(Legacy/Vintage Collection).
Upper body articulation on the Snowspeeder one is better for sure, the hips might be better too, aside from the the left hip due to the hose. Knees might be better on Xwing Luke due to more range but it’s been a long time since I posed mine, so I forgot how much range the knees had.
Thanks man. I’ve seen him several times in-store now, but I keep thinking about how the pilot Luke I have is already so similar. If I’m gonna buy another Luke, I’d probably just opt for the Dagobah figure. So. Many. Lukes...
