I came across the Empire Strikes Back endcap at Walmart today, and it had the retro figures. BUT all the Boba Fetts had been taken. :(  Didn't get the rest; I'll wait for the retros to come to online retailers and order a case.

I wasn't lurking the thread when the Star Wars retro line came out. Were they also Walmart exclusives and eventually hit the other online retailers later on? If so, yeah I'll just wait for the case to show up and buy one then. Save the hassle of trying to figure out if my local Walmarts have them AND try to get in to find it.

Last year, the New Hope retro figures came out at Target first. But then a few months later, showed up at the online shops. So I'm hoping these will take a similar route.

I would not worry about not finding the walmart reto set. Last year I bought the Target reto set, plus an addition Vader and six Stormtroopers for $2 each. I do not have a walmart in my area, I have found all there SW exclusives for clearance prices online (lando skiff guard, Jabbas Palace, etc).

I ended up buying last year's box from Entertainment Earth. Just hoping that this year's exclusive will eventually show up online and easy to get compared to the stupid Transformers minibots.

Edit: Thanks for the good thoughts though. They help.

Darn scalpers. I see lots of Bobas on eBay sell for almost $70 cad.

May want to check stores for those Retro Collection again. I read on Yakface that people who ordered online are now delayed from the 4th to the 20th. If you want your retro collection soon, maybe you should check walmarts.

It’s probably been mentioned, but I saw the Jabba’s Palace set on clearance for $30 at a local WM today. For a set with two figures (TVC’s, I assume?) that doesn’t seem like a bad price.

It was under $20 around Christmas time. I’ve been waiting for it to get back down to those levels.

    Lol...I hadn’t seen that!

If it makes you feel any better, I almost sprung for the Boba helmet today...lol. I tried to imagine wearing it around with a face mask covering the front.

Yeah, not sure why I didn’t order them but since I saw it at that price I can’t bring myself to pay any more.

Normally I wait for sales but I preordered Boba’s helmet day one (no tax or shipping at least). When it goes on sale, I might buy another one or two, lol.

I'm going to be making my bi-weekly shopping trip tomorrow, maybe I should hit up Walmart. I was planning on doing Target anyway, might as well just give it a go.

I could see them possibly doing a Black Series 6" scale AT-ST one of these days. But an AT-AT would be absolutely ginormous. :D

AT-AT? Pffft. AT-TE is the way to go. Given me an over-engineered mechanical turtle the size of a Great Dane.
