Oh those. My order says it doesn’t ship until December. As for the packing, that’s a tossup but more likely to be in an easily damaged envelope than not. As for D+, I only commented on it because the topic was brought up as part of the natural, related conversation. I see no reason why people can’t have a brief discussion about related topics in any thread and people who don’t care can just scroll past.
Some Ross dress for less have gotten the burnt, exposed eye captain phasma for $4.99. Burlington coat factory has the 3.75” black series figures for $2.99 and the less articulated 2packs for $4.99.
What a shock. Arguably the most worthless character in the history of Star Wars. Even Count Zuvio got more use via Disney Infinity than Phasma got.
Ignoring how bad a character he is, that design is so boring and generic; hey, just like Phasma’s design so I’ll call it a tie.
You know, I was thinking about phasma’s underutilization as I was carrying the figure to the front of the store, and I thought about one of the less than 5 Star Wars figures I had growing up in the 80s. I thought this 80s figure looked so cool, and I used my imagination to have it shoot lasers from nearly any part of the sculpt that might’ve hinted at it. Now this might ruffle some feathers of the SW fandom, but if we’re honest her movie utilization & representation not be that much different than the character that came to my mind. So here is possibly all of his screen time from episode 5 (and 6 ) So... perhaps not all is lost for the character phasma, as 30-40 years from now, she too might have a series surrounding her along with her story fleshed out in a number of other popular lore Disney (or whoever might buy the property in the future) produces in between time.
So uh... Yakface had posted some art in the style of Black Series packaging that they've since taken down per the artist's request... Take from that what you will. But the characters were Commander Bly, ZEB!, Jar Jar, Crait Luke, and an Imperial Probe Droid.
there was an awesome Capt Phasma comic that filled in the gap right after she gave up the shield code to Starkiller Base and it would have been perfect if they had kept that deleted scene of her final duel with Finn when that info got out... and remember the hype over Aurra Sing back when Ep 1 came out and she was supposed to be this huge important character?
CrimsonDawn_Collectibles on Instagram: “If your wallet hasn’t been emptied yet, well here’s some more black series to clear it out! Some new black series art has surfaced! From…”
I'd rather have an Ep1 Jar Jar. He actually had a major role in that film. Robe Jar Jar just seems boring. Give him the glowy energy bomb thing. Removable tongue & poseable ears. Edit: looking at the images, it looks like Ep1 Jar Jar.
I look forward to next year then. I agree. Episode 1 is more Iconic. But what am I saying? Jar Jar is never Iconic.
What they could do is include a soft goods robe with Jar Jar that looks like the one he wore in Ep2. Gives buyers the choice of which movie to display him in. I really doubt they will make 2 Jar Jars so this might be the Ep2's version's only shot.
Fun fact: although Princess Kneesaa (?) only appeared in the cartoons, Hasbro actually made a 3.75 inch of her.
It might not be as visually iconic like the Walkers or TIEs, but the assault tank sure packs in an insane amout of little details. Kyber crystals and engine blocks and even a little coffee mug!
Poor Trooper was late to his post so took the caf from the mess hall. Too bad his bad luck continued as Saw's Renegades attacked his shipment. He never did get to have his cup of coffee that day... Edit: Man those photos made me wish I had the display room for it.
