I found that trailer to be intriguing. I won't get my hopes too high though.

It's very pleasant to hear Palpatine and Ian McDiarmid back, but I'm guessing it's at most special appearance. A Sith ghost at a place of dark energy or something.

The Rise of Skywalker, with only one member of the line still around, may mean a redemption for Kylo. But we'll see.

The visuals and music sound wonderful, as usual.

It was nice to see Fisher and Leia again, and Billy Dee and Lando too.

Holy hell, it's going to be a disaster. :lolol

They lifted the remains of the second Deathstar from Lucas' VII treatment. I wonder if they find his spirit there.

You can see the metal band where the hilt was snapped - it looks about 25% smaller now - thus it's now a "new" saber- thus Rey's.

Ya know, after watching that trailer again, I'm not so sure how I feel about this. It looks promising...but at the same time, my cynical jaded self tells me not to set my expectations/hopes for this too high...yet.

"First, I build the Death Star!"

"Then, I rule the Galaxy from inside the Death Star!"

"Then, the Death Star Explodes with me inside it! Wait-"

I still think he's neither good for bad at the end, full ronin like "Zuko Alone."

There’s at least a 50% chance the title is referring to Ben.

I like it. Totally on board for that.

I think it’s more of a metaphor for the story.

I think we're all missing something really important here.

If they're going to Endor to look around the Death Star ruins, then there better fucking be some Ewoks in this movie.

When I heard Palpatine's laugh I said out loud on the spot: "Oh fuck off".

The Episode 9 boycott will be quite operational.

I don’t know where you are getting those promising vibes from. The title is straight outta fanfiction.net , and this guy

    D3-PqQUW0AEPY1N.jpg

Is Chuck Wendig's self-insert from the books.

The only thing that people seem interested in is Palpatine and Lando, from the reactions I have seen online. Is there so little interest and affection in the sequel trilogy characters and lore that Disney has to rely on the fans' affection for Billy Dee Williams and prequel memes?

Ya know... Endor wasn't the only planet with a Death Star in orbit; that could also have been on Yavin.

    I’m mostly curious.

I’m not going to see this movie, but I do want to know how the story ends.

In the meantime I’ll be waiting for the Clone Wars final season...

I enjoyed the last Jedi and wouldn’t honestly put it in my top 3 SW movies (empire and a new hope before it).

    Looking forward to this

With Rey's technical skills, I would have assumed she reverse engineer luke's to create a new one and just use the same crystal.

False sense of hope? Maybe? I dunno. I can't imagine JJ making a movie worse than TLJ. But hey....just my opinion. I could be wrong though. I guess we'll see come December. Rey parkouring over the TIE has me skeptical. She didn't exactly get a whole lot of training (at least not that the movie showed)...and all of a sudden she's like a total badass outta nowhere. Ok. *shrugs* For me it's whateverz at this point. If I go see this movie, I'm gonna do like I did in Capt Marvel. Shut off my brain and just...shovel some popcorn in my mouth hoping to be entertained.

I was wondering how much Lando's life got screwed over following the Battle of Jakku, since apparently no OT character can have a happy ending, but then I realized that they already made him want to bang robots.
