Either what I posted last month or a modified version of it that was posted online recently, is my guess.

 

If it’s the one that’s been going around that I’ve seen the last few days, then it’s very similar. So that tells me either everyone is reporting from the same fake outline with minor variations to get more clicks or that the there’s a lot of truth to the outline, and that some of the variations are due to reshoots and rewrites.

Okay... so apparently ROS is going to have time travel elements.... let me repeat that.... TIME TRAVEL ELEMENTS. Star Wars has NEVER and SHOULD NEVER EVER have any kind of anything to do with time travel. That's outright blasphemous to me and I will have no part of it.

Completely understandable. Believe me I wouldn’t put something like that past JJ. It’s always been my biggest fear that an apologetic Disney and an overly eager to please JJ is a dangerous combination capable of shear idiocy of epic proportions.

And I am thinking why would that be the case? Kylo has a Sith Army? Is it possible Palpatine has actually possessed Kylo and Ben was never really “evil” in the first place?

1) It absolves Ben of all his evil acts, thus making him redeemable.

2) And it means Luke’s failure is not entirely his own since he would be defeated by the greatest Sith Lord in history, at least partially.

I am thinking Rey was his original host and he chose Ben when she disappeared.

1) Explains Kylo’s freak out when he finds out about the “girl” in TFA, Palps wants her.

2) Explains, in another way, why Kylo wants Rey to be with him so much, she is the new Anakin / Vader or the host he really wants.

I wonder if Rey’s opening costume in white is a precursor of a turn to black.

It would also give Ben and Rey another bond being the objects of Palpatine’s possession and a reason to fight together towards a resolution. Besides the fact it gives the story a Skywalker to RISE.

In all honesty I think I’m right it fixes 90% of characterization issues for fans.

 

But it sounds so incredibly stupid. It also doesn't jive with the actual scene portrayals in the previous films.

I find it funny that you criticize the Overlords and Force reincarnation but apparently Palpatine possessing people from beyond the grave just makes complete sense.
