I was kind of wondering if Disney would be willing to indulge Lucasfilm spending as much as they did per episode on a show like this as George did. If the cancellation is true, my guess is that they're not.

They don't outright say it but hoping that means a 6th and final season, not a made for TV movie or mini series. It will probably be a short one, but at least they'll be able to wrap some stuff up. I really want to know what happens to Maul and Ahsoka before Episode III.

At least they have the sense not to replace it with that Detours crap. It sounds like focus will be shifted to a new series, and the rest of Season 6 will be released somehow.

I'm not too upset, because the Season 5 finale was a totally acceptable sendoff. I'd still love to follow it all the way to ROTS, or at least get closure on the clone troopers like Rex and Fives.

I hope they do a new cartoon series showing adventures between VI and VII.

I'm not bothered with the show ending. To me, it just raised more questions and made the movie prequels make even less sense.

I have good news for all you Clone Wars fans. While there will be no more episodes shown on Cartoon Network, the show is not yet over. Here is a video from StarWars.com That has some very interesting information.

The New Legion of clones look absolutely awesome!

So Disney's plan seems to be cancel everything and create a drought before the first Disney produced movie can be available, generate demand by making sure there's no Star Wars whatsoever until Episode VII? First the 3D conversions, then video games, now Animation, next Dark Horse and Del Rey?

It'd be cool if Dave & Co. continue on their work to whatever timeframe the next show takes place (presumably leading up to VII). Though it'll take a while to build up all those digital assets again, and they might be waiting on the movie folks for art direction.

I often thought Clone Wars was the best-looking animated show, and I'd only hope that this creative team gets to do more stories, whatever the time frame.

Wow. So now every good cartoon series, apart from a couple of comedies, is dead. Transformers Go and this new Star Wars series had better be good.

Edit: Maybe I should start checking out marvel and DC stuff. Do they have anything good that isn't canceled?

    Nothing promted that.

Also I don't. Nobody was a character in the old CW show. It was just images moving with ridiculously over-powered Jedi stunts and far too much silence. I like quiet, moody shows, but that show took it to extremes I couldn't stand.

I HATE JOHNNY TEST AND ANNOYING ORANGE! Damn shows taking all the space.... And damnit Disney, don't you relise your sitting on a goldmine? You have these shitty tween shows, which aren't funny, and you cancel good shows like Tron: Uprising. At least the Hub gives me Batman: TAS and Batman Beyond.

Sadly the tween shows is the hottest demographic.

Besides I think Clone Wars is almost burned out (the finale would be a good way to leave off).
