Fuck yes. Looks amazing.

 

I was entirely in the opposite camp in the beginning of the clone wars, but Disney/Lucasfilms, if you kill Ashoka, you will have destroyed the entire series. Just don't do it. I'd rather they send her off into nothingness as a rogue than kill her for the sake of ratings. I hated her in the beginning, but I've converted to the point that I'd hate to see her die for nothing now.

 

That trailer seems to indicate

Ahsoka stops believing in the Republic and goes rogue and goes up against Ventress as well.

However the synopses on Wookieepedia merely say

she's accused of murder goes on a quest to clear her name and teams up with Ventress for help.

I think they're building this up to be more interesting than it will be.

Unless in the end it turns out she did murder someone.

 

Seeing Cin Drallig made the episode for me. Solid start to an interesting arc.

 

This is an arc? Felt more like a one-and-done episode to me. :-/

 

Well that episode was... OK.

Having watched Nostalgia Critic so much recently, I couldn't help but notice how pointless the beginning was but I just laughed at it like I was watching a Nostalgia Critic episode. The mystery was handled OK, I guess but I think the main thing that kept me interested in the episode was the quality of the video I was watching. The most interesting part of the episode was probably the political talk, hearing about how the public was turning against the Jedi.

In the end, the episode was OK but IMO, has to be put in this season's already too big list of uninteresting episodes. Tho it was better than at least half that list.

If this episode is actually connected to the upcoming arc and wasn't just put in that trailer because it hadn't aired yet, it seems to set up the possibility of there being reasons for Ahsoka to question the Republic and Jedi Order. Hopefully, this means the arc will have the possibility of Ahsoka turning bad and won't just be a standard "someone's framed me" story.

 

If this is the start to a new arc, it's a good one as it starts asking questions and doesn't instantly resolve them while establishing mood and setting.

How many episodes are left? I kept thinking this was the season finale for some reason.

 

there are only three episodes left this season  . Although season six has been written out we are not sure if it will actually happen or not

 

It will. The show is going to Disney XD now that Disney owns Star Wars. Considering how CN treats its shows, there would be doubts if would continue there otherwise. At least SW fans can enjoy it and not give CN any rating points.

 

This episode had me feeling like I was watching CSI:Coruscant. It wasn't bad,but it paled in comparison to the last few episodes.

 

what's this Darth Maul Returns thing that's out or coming out on DVD?

 

I hope we get more "Black Sun" villians in the next season. That group of crime lords was pretty awesome. I want to know where the story goes with them.

 

Just a DVD that compiles the Darth Maul related episode together, beginning with Savage's creation. The season 5 episodes are not in it.
